Because party games don't force a player to stop playing purely based on the fact that the opponent you're Vsing is playing poorly.
I don't see how anyone can justify a "you have to die to progress because the killer played poorly" mechanic.

First of all show me where is said ALL THE TIME.
Second of all: The game is not interesting when no one dies. Survivors are have nothing to fear per se.
i play survivor too. 5 minute games with 0 people hooked is not interesting.

The games i play what usually happen as survivor 2-3 gens pop. Then 2 more. 1 hook. Last gen is popped. The end. Now why do i want what i said??

How is that a justification? So you are telling me 8 hooks is the same as 0 hooks? Then how about we end the game if no one is dead and doors are open?
If they "played poorly" there is no reason to prolong it since they wont get anybetter in the 5 minutes they are in the game.

You guys give up far too easily. I've turned a 0 killer game into a 3K - 4K with the gates powered/open.
There is NO justification to force a survivor to stop participating in play because a killer couldn't secure a kill, if you have 8 hooks everyone is on last hook, meaning you should probably down someone before that last gen pops, or the gates are opened.
The whole "why don't we just end the game" is not an argument because there are specific perks that can turn this event in the favour of the killer.

Yes those perks exist but you need to play them before you get into the game to use them. Making your point useless, one cant predict how game is going to end.
I dont understand why everybody is against it. In theory its hatch mechanic for killers? I dont see people trying to remove the hatch.
Instead of telling me how my idea is bad. Change my idea to something you think its going to do similar job. Its easy to point out whats bad, its hard find ideas.

games need to be slower overall, if you don't think this its because you don't play in high ranks.
I mean this from both survivor low ranks where 5 min games are the result of terrible survivors or high ranks where 5 min games are results of super survivors.
5 min games are boring for both sides. Survivors because they are being camped tunnelled and have no experience. Killers because the gen rush.

I am actually not for it, I am just tired of the this is a party game excuse the devs and other users have made so I made my comment, but you made a good point it is a hatch for killers. So why do survivors get a hatch but killers don't.

Hmm I typed a mistake good catch but still the meaning is quite similar.
Survivors shouldn’t have to die because you feel like it or because they performed better than the killer.
It seems you have not been constructive with the criticism and suggestions offered to you.
You have been offered different solutions to a problem you seek to solve but you have dismissed them.
I no longer see this as constructive.

Your suggestion are somewhat good. The problem is most of the time based on my games as both survivors and killer. 90% the key is played it's not used. 9% is where only key holder leaves through it. 1% is where more than one person leaves through the hatch. I personally don't have a problem with hatches.
Other people suggested that there should be parts for gens and fuel that you need to get to the gen before making it. Since it wasnt implemented by now it wont be. I wouldnt mind if they did it tho but it wont happen.

Wonder what would happen if gens just took longer based on how many SWF you were up against lol.... There are probably better fixes for the SWF problem but there has to be something that would work; and we won't get there if we don't at least discuss or try something.

Are you, the developers, planning a more interactive objective? If I remember correctly from another thread I made, you told me y'all are playing around with the idea. Did you drop the idea or is it coming along? 😁🤗

Nothing would change because if you increase the gen times, people will just solo them.
