Why Spirit?
Spirit has been a very polarizing topic recently, but why? Of course I know the complaints people have, but why now? I've only noticed people complaining about her for the past few months, but nothing has changed with her to make her more powerful. Why weren't you complaining back when she was released? Did yall just move on from Legion and needed a new killer to beat down? Im not saying that your complaints are valid/invalid, just why decide to hate Spirit now?

People have always complained about her, but now a lot of the content creators are getting louder about it.

They finished with the nurse and didn't have anybody to complain about and the way that they can get the killers nerfed is by complaining and dc'ing. Not denying that spirit has issues, but i feel like the nerf sounds heavy.

Because it works. With nurse done spirit is the next big target. With spirit done hopefully we can start seeing some core issues start to be focused on.
But also because its way easier to nerf a killer or a perk or insta heals than it is to fix core issues so they buy time by nerfing "unfun" things.

When she was released no one was able to play her to her full potential so obviously people wouldn't complain about her as opposed to now.

I dont think it takes people 8 months to learn how to play Spirit.

Yeah, problem is I don't think survivors are going to stop there, the next killers they are going to try and get nerfed are either, Billy, Freddy, or Plague (seriously survivors are calling plague unfun and are starting to DC against her....)

Ik his rework was needed and was balanced, but they are complaining about Freddy, so hope BHVR doesn't nerf him.

Its the Nurse nerf. People moved onto the next best killer and the fact that Nurse got such a big nerf emboldened them to ask for more.

just like whiny killer mains wont stop complaining about loops keys and tool boxes they cried so much about object of obsession now its just a perk that works in killers favor that lets stealth killers see u but survivors cant see them lets talk about keys killer mains want it so only 1 survivor can go thru then hatch needs a 30 second cool down before it can b opened again

We whine because this game used to be VERY Survivor sided. Its taken this long for us to get closer and closer to a balanced state, but we still arent there yet. Survivors are acting like these nerfs to them is because Killers want them to be reduced from balanced to unplayable, when in fact we're trying to move away from the old days when survivors were absolutely OP and get the down to a balanced state.

Freddy has already been nerfed after his rework. Placing a trap removes the bloodlust now.

It wasn't supposed to even do that in the first place. I assume he'll get nerfed a bit more. Placing dream snares with like no penalty to force a hit on the Survivor seems kinda boofed.

Well im expecting another nerf as people are DCing even if they even see a freddy, I was planning to buy him this month, but now I don't want to waste money on a killer that may be nerfed, since there is a DC epidemic, and the fact that when survivors DC a lot against a certain killer usually mean BHVR will now look into the killer and find a way to nerf it.
The Nurse nerf reminded me about this, the last DLC I bought was Legion, and im not planning to buy anymore due to this DC epidemic and the fact that DCs could mean a nerf for a killer.
