Please fix Console!
Ever since the release of the 3.3.0 update , the frames on console have just been the worse. In game , with the low sensitivity setting it’s been extremely difficult playing as killer recently. A date for the upcoming updates to console settings and 60 FPS would be appreciated. (I play on Xbox , and yes I’ve tried hard resetting to resolve the frame drop, because in the past , that would mostly work. But as of recent it’s all just been awful)

I'm playing on an Xbox One S and I've had zero problems in gameplay. Menus, yes, but that's something I can deal with. And it's been getting better every day for me.

Then we’re obviously playing two different games, if you think the optimization is even acceptable compared to any other game right now. 😂

They will be fixed in the PS5 and XBOX TWO (idk) editions.

Playing killer has been weird for me recently too. It’s hard to explain, but I somehow feel like I’m moving too fast? Something just feels off with the frame rate. It’s only when I play killer though. Survivor seems to be completely normal, minus the lag that’s appearing in the waiting lobbies. It’s definitely a game issue as there’s nothing wrong with my internet and I’m experiencing zero issues with any other multiplayer games...

I never said it was comparable. Just that I never had any major issues. I did have a problem with hitboxes for a small bit though, but they seem to have fixed themselves. And the only lag I get is because the Australian government can't make a national broadband for Legion's tier rating.

Unless they make Dead By Daylight 2, how would matchmaking work? Would you only be matched with the console your on? For example PS5 only be matched with PS5 survivors. And I know PS5 will be backwards compatible (not sure about Xbox) I highly doubt people would double dip on a PS5 version when you could play your PS4 copy with your existing DLC. I sure wouldn't, unless they made a free to play version on PS5 where your existing DLC would carry over. I think at the end of the day DBD2 sounds much easier and would be a better business decision.

They are already testing the waters for cross platform. Cross platform between like consoles can't be too far off.

Also DBD2 would kill the company, imo. BHVR got really lucky with DBD but very few players would want to start from zero and work their way up again in a similar game. Just look at all the failure copycats. The reason people are still playing is because of the time they invested in it. There's no investment in a new title.

I played on PS4 and then on PS4 pro. The difference between the base model and the higher end one was pretty significant. I can only think the same would be true for xbox.
