New Survivor Perk : Pack Rat
You can't bare to leave behind precious items you find in trials.
You gain the ability to have 2 items on you at a time in a trial.
One item is held in your hand and the other is stowed away on your waist.
You can switch back and forth between your currently held item and stowed away item by either standing or crouching completely still and then pressing R for 4/3/2 seconds.
You cannot bring another item with you at the start of a trial.
You can stow an item away even if you don't have a second item.
Items that are stowed away are protected from killer perks and addons.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
At first the concept of having 2 items at once in a trial my seem op, but not if you add certain restrictions.
Like not allowing you to bring an extra item with you from the start of the trial, cause this means 2 things, you will only make use of this perk if you either 1: loot a chest or if 2: you steal an item from someone else.
Making this perk entirely dependent on your luck with chests and ability to steal from others makes this perk balanced but useful if you get lucky.
You could run a whole entire looting build with Plunderers Instinct, Ace in the Hole, The new perk, and (optionally) Pharmacy. Only then you might be more likely to find a second item that's at least decent and you're running a whole build based off of items so you do very much deserve to have a second item that's nothing to sneeze at.
This perk also has a secondary usefulness as well as a counter to Franklin's Demise, a perk that any survivor that relies on their items hates. That's when you have an item stowed away it is protected from any perk that would possibly affect it if you were holding it, like Franklin's. This counter isn't full proof though any perk shouldn't be. That's why i added you having to stand still and press R for a few seconds to either switch between the 2 items you might have or to put away an item you are holding so that it is protected cause if you want to prevent yourself from losing your items before you go down you will have to risk standing completely still for a bit before the item is even protected.
There is also one more thing that the perk doesn't mention which is that the item you have stowed away appears on your Belt/Waist. This is put in as a tell for your teammates and the killer that you're running the perk so either your teammates can know that you can hold a extra item or for the killer to know that you have an extra item at all so that they can see it coming and not be surprised when a survivor whips out another item mid chase and starts using it.
Welp I hope to see what you guys think of this perk, feel free to give your input and thoughts on it whether you think this perk would be used much if it was actually put in the game or if it is too powerful even though i put a bunch of limitations to prevent the perk from being broken.

I like the concept, but I see the use more in the model change and less in countering stuff like Franklin's, since with an item a Survivor's arms are farther out while crouching, would this perk prevent that when storing an item?
Maybe when carrying 2 items a Survivor is slowed by 4/3/2%, just as a little downside to make it more risky? Just an idea, though. So far I think it's pretty balanced.

I don't personally think that holding an item makes you THAT more noticeable cause if you are using cover that is so small that holding an item makes it unusable you probably shouldn't be using that piece of cover anyways. As for the movement speed debuff i feel that it is a bit overkill on the balance department because i have already put into place a bunch of restrictions to make the perk balanced without you having to have a debuff like that. Now if the perk allowed you to bring a second item with you from the start of the trial then i would be all for adding a movement speed debuff because the restrictions i have make it so that you have to rely on luck to make the second item you have be useful in the first place and if that wasn't put into place you would be able to use 2 really powerful items with addons from the start of the match which would be broken af. Imagine if killer were able to bring 4 different addons? that would be insane. survivors are already able to find items in chests randomly as it is and you don't really see people complaining about that do you?
