She is sooooo unfun, unfar, constantly only get one blink because u forget to hold it 1 sec longer utter fking trash cant do map pressure if you miss one fking blink survivors get more then halfway across the map before u can even bloody blink again.
This nerf to her basekit is utter fking trash unbelievable how unfun she is.
I play on (console) where she was already hard now shes worse CHANGE HER BASEKIT BACK!!!!
I know this post is all rage but bloody hell it has been tough. Can a dev please respond if there any chance of her basekit going back to normal.

Such a powerful killer that everyone make it weaker than she is. I mean sure she's weaker than before but at right hand you are still as strong as before. Add-ons are here to be used and old nurse no one were using them. Sure except omega blink and thousand blink combo but overall all good nurse weren't using any. How is that normal no one should play against the best players and win with base kit.
However i'm not happy with base kit change but could have been way worse. Sensitivity and framerate and why nurse is so unplayable. As a nurse main on PS4 i still 4k with her at red ranks just not against the best teams because my skill is not that high.

Most unfun part about this whole thing is power bar always having to watch it, then theres the part where a survivor is right infront of you but you dont blink because your waiting for 2nd one to charge( incase u miss 1st blink) by time that happens there far enough to where have to blink twice to catch up then whole thing just repeats 😢

Why should survivors be viable without being forced to use toolboxes or medkits?

Because those go away mid-game. Unless you want Medkits, toolboxes and maps to last all game? Also, these items can be temporarily removed with a perk.

but the damage they inflict is equal or currently greater then what a killers addons can do. a commodious toolbox with addons is 2x 50 second generators solo. One survivor with that essentially removes a generator from the game.

I'm not a Nurse main. I'm not even a killer main. I've barely played her. But it sounds like the rework changed her kit pretty significantly. Is it possible that part of the reason she seems so weak currently is because people who have gotten used to how she plays, who have developed that inbuilt muscle memory or second nature or whatever you want to call it, are naturally having trouble adjusting to a new playstyle with her?
Yes, she's weaker, but maybe she's not as weak as she seems. Perhaps she can become a solid high tier, if not top tier, killer again simply by giving her some time to get used to.

The problem is not the playstyle , it's just you don't have any mobility at all to going around gens , you can't waste 2 blinks to go half way of the map to see if gens are being worked on or not , you just simply can't waste blink or do mistakes , or you're screwed

She has a physical limit to her ability..
Her map pressure (ability to patrol ) is a fraction of what it use to be making large maps an automatic loss
The best addons do not even bring her back to old base nurse level.
Survivors can see where she is going to blink to and counter move her every time
dedicated servers are messing with her lunge and movement.

She’s still just as difficult to use, if not more. But now doesn’t have the same pay off as she used to.
Why would anyone want to use her over easier more efficient killers?

I feel same way im trying keep a post about nurse high so maybe a dev could respond gives us some peace of mind if she had chance to get basekit change back or is she a lost cause.
Its all i want is a response. A simple yes we might change it back or a no so i can stop torturing myself try play her. I love nurse but the way she is, is pretty bad and not enjoyable to play.

If this happens quite often, not Nurse is the problem.
She is still the best Killer in the game. She is a lot harder to play tho because you cannot yolo-blink just after missing your first sets of Blinks. Now there is punishment for missing Blinks, which was not the case before.

The survivors wanted the nerf and survivors LIKE the nerf. this is all that matters to the devs as survivors are the cash cows, or as the industry calls them "whales" and they just disconnect against anything they hate until it is removed or nerfed.

She isn't the best killer in the game by far. Several killers are better than her by now. She is unfun to put it simple, 4k with her, no fun whatsoever. Utterly boring and mindnumbing. Wait till you play nurse players that can play her and it will be an utter snoozefest, before nurse would travel the map after a hook, now, ######### that.

its not even the fact that surviviors can just run in a straight line to avoid the nurse and how bad she is now, the bigger fact is that she is just unfun to play now with this new blink and wait bs. another character for the trash can

Yes waiting for the second blink by being scared of missing the first blink yes i do.
If they do that she will be even stronger than before making the rework pointless. Nurse still have the same range and charge speed. Basekit change could have been way worse at least it's no longer a no brain power.

She's just completely unfun right now and the cooldown has absolutely killed her map pressure and her ability to find survivors that are trying to hide. She actually has bad map pressure now. You're often forced to wait out the cooldown AFTER survivors have broken LOS during fatigue and then make a purely predictive coin flip blink only to punished if you guess wrong. If we're saying Spirit is unfun because survivors are relying on prediction the majority of the time, then we should be able to agree that Nurse shouldn't have to rely on prediction more.

They are also reusable if you keep them by escaping AND you can find more fore free during a trial.

Ive played against these 2 pretty good nurses on xbl since thy e patch and they still do just fine in chases. Little slowr on traversing the map though

Survivors were still stronger than add on less nurse before her nerf. That's what's funny.
I play 50/50, r1 every season both basically and have always believed Nurse was fair. Survivors ARE the power role and killers typically get the short end. Insta heals were a refreshing change though.
You'll notice the only nerf survivors get is broken things, things that are genuinely extremely unfair.

Isn't it extremely fishy that the devs haven't made a single statement? Like all posts ignored, she wasn't mentioned in the rift pass stream nor in the forum Q&A nor in the Q&A life stream nor in the latest blogspot. They pretend as if Nurse doesn't exists anymore. Biggest betray ever..

You couldn't "yolo-blink" previously either unless you used additional blink addons. Stop pretending old nurse required 0 skill, your survivor bias is cringe af.

Yh i feel you on that its like every post or anything that mention the nurse has simply gone.
I made this post to share my frustrations and disappointment with what happened with nurse.
Also trying keep this post alive in hope devs will see and give us all a responses.

I'm really trying to keep the nurse topic a well discussed topic, I even went ahead and translated a whole video related to nurse nerf into English language. What else can I do to get any attention from the devs? Really frustating at this point.. Maybe that's their plan? Ignoring us till we give up..

Yeah, the silence has been pretty deafening when you consider how many negative posts there have been from Nurse players between here and reddit. And they haven't just been whiny posts for the sake of whining over a nerf. There has been legitimate criticism levied at the blink cooldown and its possibly unintended or unforseen effects on her other aspects as a killer. My guess is that they're still collecting data on her post-nerf and don't want to make a statement too early.

Im glad there others that see its not nerf that was the probably it was basekit that has completely ruin her. She not even fun to play anymore as she is now she is completely frustrating.

Yeah I agree Nurses mobility is trash now. You feel like you’re on a leash when you move around the map. They should at least increase her base movement speed to 4.2 or 4.4ms.

4.4 would be way too strong, she should be base 4.2 and her add make her 4.4 for one blink.

She still gets 2 kills on average, I'm sure. Perfectly balanced. Did you know most killers currently ,on average, get about 2 kills per game? The game is perfectly balanced based on our statistics. /s

Another whiny nurse main . As said above - adjust to changes . I honestly think that old Nurse spoiled far too many players back in a day . Devs shouldn't have created her to begin with .

Exactly. For too long was nurse the best in every single thing a killer needs to be good at - map presence, potential to end chases quickly, snowball potential, ability to punish even the tiniest of survivor mistakes or misplays.
It shouldn't have taken this long to nerf her, but it's a very good thing they did!

Yes. It's GREAT that they made her extremely unfun and boring with a recharge that allows you to run in a straight line and she will take forever to catch up.
Play nurse at high ranks :)

I've played her since nerfs , running in a straight line won't save you btw (if you believe in this bs , it's more likely that you haven't tried her after changes) . The only problem is closed maps like Lery's , you need to predict every single survivor step , other than that she's the same broken killer as before

I think if you have a Killer where the majority of players did NOT use add-ons, then that points to are very well executed base power imo.
I do not understand this philosophy in the game where add-ons are nearly being forced on us to use. Killers should not struggle the way some Killers do with their base kits add-onless.
Anyway, base recharge rework put a stomp on her fluidity. Nurse already has god awful tracking, (honestly, the worst tracking in the game) now she even struggles in chases.
I've been playing Matchbox + Kav's last breath for extra range and it's fun, but it'd be nice to go back to add-onless 2 blink Nurse but it's just too terrible playing her that way now.

My personal problem with the new Nurse is not that she is weaker. Infact for an extremely good player she hardly changed at all. Streamers like Tru3, or Zubat still wreck left and right with her with ease.
My problem with the new Nurse is because of how newbie unfriendly and unatractive she has become. If you think it from a perspective of a new player, who plays killer, and is sick of losing. They wanna pick a character where they have a chance to win, no matter the survivors. Why would they pick the Nurse, when they can just pick the Spirit, and achieve pretty much the *same* results but with 10 times less effort and time investment? Even after the Spirit nerfes, she will still be a far superior choice over the Nurse.
For new players there is no reason to pick Nurse. This is why her change was bad.

I’ve said this in a lot of threads, I’ll say it again. I freely admit Nurse still performs well when you’re working your ass off. The problem is that it isn’t fun to play her anymore. You get doubly punished for using her power. You have to wait (fatigue) and wait again (recharge) every single time you use your power. It just feels incredibly punishing and not fun.
I can still 4k with her. Doesn’t mean I want to play her when I could be playing more fun killers
