Props to the Devs
Awesome PTB, I have great expectations in this next chapter. Thanks for the effort

Everything is fine except the terrible legion nerf.
8 -
It wasnt a nerf, it is the same for every killer to not get stacks with m2
6 -
That is still a nerf, and it's unfair. I can't believe you want the worst killer in the game to lose any piece of their kit.
10 -
Yes I think it is fair that Legion doesnt get stacks on Frenzy. He should be buffed with things like speed, duration, mend time or detection
11 -
This chapter/update seems fooking solid yeah?
1 -
His mend time was nerfed.
6 -
Only when 2 people mend each other
0 -
no in general. It was 15 seconds, now it's 12.
1 -
Agree, nice changes, awsome killer and survivor, only the perks are abit underwhelming. And the legion nerf is weird bust still exetable. Love the chapter already <3
1 -
I love it. Killer looks really solid power-wise and awesome from an aesthetic perspective. I didn't realize I wanted a Hillbilly Myers, but I do. Love the survivor. Plan on maining her.
0 -
It still is 16 when you mend alone, it just changed healing others
0 -
Yes it is a nerf, even a dev acknowledged it's a nerf.
3 -
No. It's 12 seconds now. Healing others is now 8 seconds.
0 -
I know the mend time was a nerf, what wasn't is the no stack and what most legion mains i know complained about
1 -
Hmmm, you're happy about the weakest killer in the game getting a nerf
Someone really doesn't want clown to be the worst in the game lol
0 -
It's a valid complaint. He just got crippled.
It was a brain dead decision by the DEVS. It's just stupid.
0 -
Yeah, sure it's not a complete buff but why isn't it a complete buff. It's not like you're buffing aspects of spirit so you need to nerf others, he's trash masquerading as a killer with only Bubba or clown being worse. There was no need to nerf something because we buffed other aspects
0 -
killer perks are pretty trash tier - niche tier (I mean windows of opportunity for the killer as a perk....) and a killer that is basically Billy if he had to get gas for his chainsaw from the survivors like killer. until he injured a survivor and farms blood he is a M1 killer with no mobility. so he will be around C tier, no higher more than likely. and survivors get 1 amazing SWF perk, a Good perk in general to recycle pallets in a way and 1 bad perk that is garbage
0 -
If you keep trying that hard to not understand this whole discussion is not even worth the time
0 -
Nemesis is a pretty powerful perk, and The Killer is very good. Also, it is quite dumb to call him a Billy that needs gas. It is more like a billy that doesn't bump into anything, can instadown survivors with m1, can track survivors really easily because he has Bloodhound by default and can insta break pallets. All of those traits combined sure seem like a C tier pal
0 -
All killers dont get stacks from m2. It is lifterally the same arguement that made spirit get a vault animation, and Legion shouldn't be an exception. Legion should have more speed, a better chase ability and everything, but keeping his m2 be the oy in game to get perks working is a mistake, and the devs did well by fixing it
0 -
I agree they didn't need to nerf the mending time. But as I said 37 times, Legion shouldn't be and exception to a basic game rule. It doesn't matter if he is weak or awesome
0 -
you forget that form is TEMPORARY, you lose it when you pick up a downed survivor. you then need to farm for it from INJURED survivors and hitting survivors AS A M1 KILLER and you have NO mobility until you have that form yes. C tier and Nemesis is only useful for perks that INVOLVE HOOKING your obsession or hitting him. or with PWYF losing chase with him. which those perks only do is
increase exit game open time
reduce terror radius WHILE in chase
there is rancor but to get that effect you got to let the power gates get powered up
no nemesis is horrible unless you pair it with PWYF then it becomes a DECENT perk
0 -
Nemesis is awesome on every killer that can use enduring because of the 50 seconds of oblivious, aside from simply having brought back the old Legion. It takes less than 2 m1 hits on survivors to completely farm a charge of Blood Fury, and that is completely ignoring blood dropped on the ground and vaults. The Oni also gets the ability passively, so if you are the biggest potato ever or play against the best loopers DBD has ever seen, you will still get the power a little over 3 minutes later. Now, while it is true that you can't hook while in Blood Fury, what difference does that even make? Run Infectious and snowball, or just wait the remaining time patrolling gens or doing literally anything. Slug, Wait, Idc.
And also, Dark Devotion with Nemesis is STRONG. You get 30 seconds of no Red Stain, No Borrowed, No TR and survivors lose any way of preparing against you, so I'd say that is a pretty powerful effect for 2 perks (you can still use 2 regression, 2 detection or whatever).
And finally, the killer the Oni is basically the best killer all around dbd has ever seen. He can detect survivors very easily while still offering regression (good survivors will stop to heal, since they would just keep feeding the killer his power).
And I forgot to say he can MultiDown

Yes great patch so far except maybe for legion. Legion having his speed is great but there is two things they need to be mid-tier.
- Cooldown reverted to 3s.
- Basic Attack Penalty removed (gauge drain from m1 attacks).
@Almo can the team fix that, Legion don't need nerf he need buff. Listening to us we prevent your team to come back for additionnal fixing at a later date.
Otherwise the spirit nerf is not bad at all, The perks buff are great and BL infinite is no more.
PS: MoM may see a comback with the protection hits being fixed.

I do understand it. Everyone understands it. YOU are the only one that agrees lol
I mean this is a very toxic and divided community, one of the only thing everyone can agree on is that legion sucks and a nerf is just hilarious

if you play red ranks you know how much a single M1 is. plus he has no map traversal outside of his power when it is charged. 3 minutes in a game is 3-4 gens done if they are not idiots when it comes to doing them. with nemesis + dark devotion ONLY the obsession is oblivious. they can STILL SEE YOU and THEY emit the terror radius. you still have a red stain to the other 3 survivors. and this no terror radius for YOU is WHILE you are in a chase more than likely. so Barrowed will not be a issue. so for 30 seconds you JUST DONT HAVE A TERROR RADIUS for the other 3 survivors. he can multi down but so can billy, leather face, myers. etc his power DOES HAVE A TIME LIMIT LIKE T3 MYERS. he has the same slug/snowball potential as a billy/myers/leatherface I would rank them with Billy having the best and Oni under him SINCE BILLY DOES NOT HAVE A TIMER FOR HIS 1 SHOT. with myers and leatherface underneath him. any killer can multi down. his detection ONLY WORKS if they are INJURED. and even then you would probably hear them unless they are running iron will so that detection is meaningless outside of iron will users and they have to be hurt. and no he is FAR FAR FAR from the best killer overall in DBD. he is a M1 killer until he hurts a survivor and farms blood. that can TAKE A VERY LONG TIME.

This argument isn't accurate though considering not all killers are built equally. It's not a universal balance in that way considering that every killer is different.
You're acting as if all killers are built the same. It matters.
1 -
So if we follow your logic on STBFL where we can’t m2 with legion to get stacks since it’s not base attack.
Then why does adrenaline proc when you are already exhausted on another exhaustion perk? I mean we are being fair with the rules here right?
Adrenaline is an exhaustion perk and it should be following the rules of exhaustion right?
(Takes out popcorn)
1 -
I'm impressed by the huge list of bugfixes 🤗
0 -
I am so not looking forward to facing the old Legion again.
0 -
Legion shouldn't get stacks from an m2 power, it DOESN'T MATTER IF HE IS WEAK. Also, they literally brought back old legion
0 -
Adrenaline would be weird if you got the health state and had to wait the whole previous exhausted to sprint. While the perk is extremely strong, the community really likes it, and that would make the perk bad in my opinion.
The Legion FF change is just to adequate him to the rest of the killers
0 -
All killers have unique powers, but they share the same aspects. That is like, written on the first line of the tutorials
0 -
Oh and also Adrenaline was built that way, in the perk it says (Overules exhaution), while save the best says when hitting a survivor that is not your obsession
0 -
So it is fair that nurse gets stacks after teleporting through walls and hitting you, spirit gets stacks after phasing at you, hag gets stacks after porting at you, Plague gets stacks after hitting an infected survivor, but Legion, who can't even down anyone with his power, shouldn't?
Doesn't really make any sense for me but well...
If you use the killer ability and hit someone right after, you get this hit with help of that ability. Even the game knows, since you get extra points for that. The only difference for Legion is that he's getting hits during his ability, but therefor it does not do much and the main use is to get information and buy a little time (which got nerfed to 12 seconds now).
1 -
The PTB is meh, Oni is just a worse billy, and the Legion nerfs where unnecessary. The spirit got nerfed too hard as well.
0 -
Spirit and Nurse's power is still a hit because it has no side effects and it is still and m1. Plague should get stacks when hitting a survivor with her m1(just like she does), and not get stacks when she uses Corrupt or Vile Purge (like she does).
0 -
Still doesn't make sense to me. When Legion uses frenzy, you still have to hit them with m1, like every other killer does. Frenzy is just running and vaulting, but to hit, you need to m1.
0 -
Spirit's nerf was well deserved. Legion's buff weren't really worth the nerfs, but I'm glad they removed the Stack gain while in FF. Also, while the PTB is laggy as usual, I liked both the model and the Onis power

My understanding of special attacks was that a killer was a special attack if it had charge up and did not behave like lunge attack. So Leatherface Chainsaw, Billy Chainsaw, Demogorgon and Pig ambush attack are all special attacks because they are offensive actions(stuff that hurts the survivor) that have their own tailor behavior. Oni killer has 2 special attacks as well explicitly saying it's special attack. Huntress hatchets is another example of special attack.
Wraith's Uncloak attack, Myer EV3 special lunge attack, Nurses blink attack, Spirit's phase walk and Legion's Feral frenzy are all just normal lunge attacks with slight modifications. I don't want to list the differences between each one, but some of the type of attacks are mostly for blood point calculation. I'm pretty sure that this change was intentional nerf for legion. Ironically enough, A very controversial add-on known as Franks mixtape now has potential to be used with those oblivious status effect perks. I mean it always had potential to be used with insidious and Tinkerer but the strategy wasn't really winning strategy. I think if people had to choose between a world where legion has non-dynamic chases that are reliable downs and slow healing/faster attack speed, I am pretty sure people would take latter. There is more counter-play this time around in trying to make the legion whiff an attack and preventing him from getting a pallet stun, while also wasting the killer time if people try blood lust route, but it will still probably feel a bit iffy to play against.
0 -
He's definitely not the worst killer in the game anymore if you put Nemesis on him
0 -
Legion works better with stbfl now at least. And why are we complaining about this when we have Nemesis now?
0 -
Okay. Just because they share the fact that the idea is to hunt down and down survivors, doesn't mean they are built the same or equal. This isn't balance. This is doing something for the sake of doing something. Even though it directly impacts killers like Legion but not a killer like Spirit.
It's STILL an awful argument you are making.
0 -
agreed, slight changes should be made, nothing too much.
