(Note: This page has been updated, with a few tweaks to Johnny's speed and main ability)

Real Name: Jack Torrence

Creator: Stephen King

Played by: Jack Nicholson

From: Stephen King's The Shining

Killer Name: The Johnny

Weapon: Axe

Speed: 115%

Terror Radius: 32 meters

Backstory:

It was a cold September night, when the hotel caretaker was tricked into insanity from a creepy hotel and serious writers block.

Many have heard about the horrible things that happened to Jack Torrence and his family at the Overlook Hotel in Colorado that horrible week. But nobody truly knows what happened to Jack after he disappeared into the hedge maze after his son.

Jack Torrence, better known as Johnny, followed his Son into the maze on that legendary night. As he chased and chased, he grew tired and angry. He ran four hours before finally collapsing into a deep sleep in the snow.

But then.... He woke up. Back in the hotel, partially frozen and still holding the axe. This wasn't the hotel he was used to... No, this was something completely new, but entirely the same. He had a strange urge to continue his hunt, and as thought this, he heard something explode in the distance.

Powers:

Frozen Thrash-

A power enduced by Jack's own insanity. Similarly to The Legion, Jack will start running at higher speeds. This new speed is 125%. However, running faster is where the similarities to The Legion end. As he is running, he swings his axe back and forth, hitting anyone in his path. His ability lasts for 15 seconds, or can be stopped by Jack himself. This power takes 40 seconds to recharge.

Ice Sheet-

A power given to Jack by the entity. He can block windows with a sheet of ice. Survivors can remove this after 15 seconds of cleansing, and a moderate skill check. They can also melt after being in play for 2 minutes.

(Jack can block up to 6 windows, and he is alerted with visual notifications when one is removed. When placing a new one after the 6th, the oldest disappears. Blocked windows are highlighted blue)

Perks:

Hex: Redrum- A hex rooting its power on failure. Everytime a skillcheck of any kind is failed, this hex gains a charge.

1 Charge - Every Survivor screams in fear, revealing their location for 10 seconds.

4 Charges - Every time a survivor is put into the injured state, you gain a 5% speed boost for 5 seconds.

7 Charges - Sacrificing a survivor renders every other survivor in the game with the Blindness status effect and the broken staus effects for 30 seconds

I'm Not Gonna Kill Ya - Survivors are convinced your not evil. If a Survivor stays within 15 meters of you while not in a chase for 8 seconds, then your terror radius decreases to 0 until they are 32 meters away from you.

Here's Johnny - The fear of your prey gives you power. When in a chase, pallet take 10% less time to break. Survivors looking at you when breaking a pallet this way will scream, revealing their location. Breaking pallets while this perk is in play will decrease the volume of pallets being broken to 60% of normal pallet breaking sound.

Welp.... The map is simple. Its the hotel from The Shining. The Overlook's forst floor alone would be a great map. Maybe the fencing around the outside could be hedges to reference the hedge maze?

What do you think? Good perks? Bad ones? Please don't leave 'Oh never put this in the game', or 'These perks are only good for noobs' comments. Please be respectful. I am open to any feedback, as long as your honest, but all I ever get is 'Only good for noobs'. That doesn't really make me feel good about what I create.

Ability: I personally don't like the hatchets. I think since huntress already has them I don't think another killer should. His hatchets are stronger than huntress's and he moves at 117% speed (should be 115%) so your basically destroying huntress. This should be changed to something else, tou can keep the exhaustion part but it shouldn't be hatchets. Also if it's a range ability like hatchets you may need to look into lowering the speed from 115% to 110%

The frozen windows idea is cool but it's too map specific. Certain maps like lerys would be really good for this killer, whereas others like the game map has hardly any. I think overall this ability would be fine if you could sort out his secondary ability.

Hex: Redrum: I like the idea of a totem gaining charges off of missed skill checks but at higher ranks I don't think this is strong enough to do much. The totem will get destroyed before you sacrifice anyone or no one will miss enough skill checks.

I'm Not Gonna Kill Ya: Change 15m to 16m please (sorry but I really dislike seeing awkward numbers). I like the idea of this perk. Couple it with whispers and it could be cool. I think it should take 8 seconds before the perk activates when a survivor is in your terror radius.

Here's Johnny: During a chase it's not great since the survivor is usually right infront of you. However if you don't destroy pallets, then return to them later it catch reveal survivors hiding near you. The only issue I have is that once a survivor knows you have it then they will not look at you again. Maybe reduce sounds from destroying pallets so other survivors may not hear you.

Hope this was helpful, really enjoyed reading it. I really liked the shining and love Jack Nicholson as an actor so this would be cool to see.

I'm going to be honest with you... I didn't really want another hatchet ability either, but I think lockers should be used for more than one killer.... I feel like it is such a good resource that only one killer uses.

For my Perk "I'm not gonna kill Ya":

I honestly didn't realize I didn't put down a time. I can check that out, because 8 secodns sounds good.

    For "Here's Johnny":

I actually meant this as a system to come back to, or to find stragglers that like to sit and watch chases on top of buildings or in grass.

Thanks for your feedback! I'm so glad that you liked my ideas, and by the way, this post has now been updated with a new ability. Tell me what you think! :)
