Any Means Necessary
Right now I think waiting two minutes to replace a thrown pallet is a bit too much. I propose that the perk’s reuse time is reduced by a, at most, a minute.

Yeah I agree with you on being a bad perk and I only see one situation in it being useful and that is against a huntress so you don’t get animation locked while vaulting pallet

But maybe I know nothing because all I’ve seen is gameplay of ptb due to men playing console
(I could play ptb but my pc doesn’t have good enough specs for it to be worth)

It probably doesn't even need a cooldown at all. Most killers break pallets or they simply don't need to.

Nurse, "What's a pallet?"

Its Rare for a reason
0 -
No. You already have the abusable "breakout".
3 -
Lmao, survivors calling “any means necessary” a trash perk, when you have the means but not the knowhow...
4 -
It's only extremely rare until people realize it's good, and then it's not. Take old Decisive Strike for example. Getting hit by it once wasn't a big deal, but when all four survivors started to run it because it was a free second chance every match, then it was a problem. We'd rather stay in front of problems like that and stop them from ever happening, not wait for everything to go wrong and then react.

*sees ds and adrenaline in almost all games in 2-4 survivors...
Gonna go with, not rare at all

Exactly, guys.. you have to have in mind how it's gonna be if a whole team is using it. You can't balance it imagining you're gonna be the only one running it on pallet replacement duty. I think they made this mistake with the original mettle of man, and you had full squads running it being near impossible to beat.

Yeah I gotta back the devs on this one, I think they have the right idea.
If it turns out to be too long after being live for a bit; they can always reduce it, but better that than messing up every match for killers until they get around to fixing it if it's a problem.

No the perk is fine the way it is.

Its a Survivor Perk. They are all bad. You dont get good Survivor Perks anymore. This Chapter is no exception.
While it is true that 4 people can have it and this is a reason to not make it stronger, the Pallet Destruction cancels the resetting of the Pallet (similar to Demogorgon cancelling the sealing of the Portal when he is using it) and safe Pallets will and should be kicked immediatly. If you have a strong Pallet like Shack or Jungle Gym, you will kick it anyway. So it will be quite rare that there is a Pallet which can be resettet anyway, in fact, the only times I really see Pallets lying around is vs Spirit or Nurse, but this is logical, they dont really care for Pallets (Spirit to an extend).

But resetting a pallet isn't a second chance and rather a easy counter when it comes to 'just break the pallet lol', rather than it having no counterplay besides me having to dribble the Survivor, dropping them and picking them back up.

if we add to the perk a passive secondary effect: pallet stun increases by 10%, in this way it would be useful even during the game you did not find any useful pallets to pull up or just one random unsafe pallet

90 Seconds seems like a fair amount of time.

This perk is not bad at all... you run empathy or maybe even WoO to see where pallets are down and you've got can pallet repair... obviously its situational but empathy can make it where you can maybe repair pallets mid chase..

Alright Let's say that that you reduced it down to every 60 seconds. If all 4 are running it, that means that survivors can put a pallet back-up every 15 seconds. And if they're putting pallets up at every 15 second interval they're not accomplishing the objective and most pallets are unsafe pallets anyway, so they're not accomplishing anything of worth. I'd say that a reduced time is justified and it'll still be garbage as a perk with the reduced time.

AMN is a great perk. Pallets are a finite resource, being able to reuse ANY of them is huge.
I almost feel like people are pretending its bad so they can beg for buffs. The perk is fine as is.

I can explain why the perk won't really take off. If a pallet is safe, a killer will break the pallet because it's more efficient to break a pallet then it is to blood lust it. If the pallet is unsafe, than a killer who is confident will attempt to score a hit.
basically, whichever action takes less time is best decision to intake. Lift unsafe pallet doesn't impact the game because of technique that killers can do which is feinting. Feinting is when you pretend to go into a pallet stun range, then back out so that you avoid the stun. For this reason, you don't really need enduring as a perk unless you plan to lunge into every pallet hoping dedicate servers connects a hit. Rarely will you be able to lift safe pallet as most killer will either break it in the chase or break it after they hook a person to clean up the drop pallets.

Could it be tied to Exhaustion but on a shorter timer, say, 100/80/60 seconds? :)
1 -
How many down pallets would you normally find that requires a lower cool down?
0 -
Staying ahead of problems like Nemesis & Legion? :)

It either needs a cooldown reduction or to have some kind of secondary benefit. Maybe when a survivor drops a pallet you see that survivor's and that pallet's aura for 10 seconds. That way you can see if the killer breaks it or if there's a pallet to pick up.

Would it have been too easy to make a prerequisite like "For every other Survivor who reinstalls a pallet the cooldown increases the next time by an additional XY seconds" or anything gear that? And ... magically ... its no problem at all if more people run the perk in the same game.

Raising a pallet should make the same noise as dropping one. And give the Killer a notice bubble.

Which is why good perks can't exist for survivors. Instead, we spend money for good perks that are nerfed after released or refuse to buy the dlc and face the fact that the game has fewer worthwhile additions for one side. Survivors are valued by perks since none of the characters actually matter and are just skin changes. When the community begins to whither because of the undeniable bias, you won't be able to feign surprise. The writing is on the wall.
