Oni Builds

Alrighty people the Oni is near and I want to hear everyone's build idea. I haven't looked up his add-ons yet (I'm still studying them) but I want to hear the best build you got for him.

My build for the Oni is:

Hex:Ruin

Brutal Strength (you're gonna need this to counter Any Means Necessary)

Nemesis

STBFL (maybe swap that out for Enduring)

Sloppy Butcher, Bloodhound, Infectious Fright, and Nurses Calling. Never let them heal and track them, once you have Demon Mode, slug and find everyone else with Infectious Fright and down them with Demon Strike.

You won't need Brutal Strength. While in Blood Frenzy you can break pallets almost instantly with M1, and even if you aren't AMN can't be used while you are breaking the pallet.

    I feel that;

    • Sloppy Butcher
    • Distressing + Coulrophobia
    • PGTW + Dying Light
    • Nurse's Calling

Could be a decent set-up. Feed the demon kind of build.

Survivors are going to want to heal against you to deny you blood orbs. Sloppy + Coulro ensures that they spend a lot of time healing. Distressing boosts the strength of Coulro and Infectious. Infectious will synergize well with Demon Strike, since you insta-down a survivor and can immediately run over to another and down them, potentially snowballing really hard. Even though your TR is bigger since he is fast in Demon Dash you can take advantage of that.

Marth was using, Infectious Fright, Ruin, Pop, and Bbq. I think that is a pretty solid build for him.

To me, Infectious Fright, Pop, Knockout, and Monitor & Abuse.

Infectious Fright because this killer needs to slug due to how his power works and Infectious Fright will help you with finding other survivors to go after once you've downed someone. This perk to me is the best on him due to how fast he can snowball off of Infectious Fright with his power and end the game off of the information provided alone.

Pop because he downs people very quickly and can get really good value out of it when needed. Ruin can also work, but I don't like to run Ruin on my killers personally.

Knockout because again, this killer needs to slug due to how his power works, and Knockout will generate a massive amount of pressure when survivors are going down quickly while anyone who's still up doesn't know where their downed teammates are and have to look for them, forcing them off gens.

Monitor & Abuse to help with landing the first hit in the early game since it's crucial that he starts charging his power. Monitor & Abuse will then transition into the mid to late game where you can still get closer to people than normal, giving them less time to react and flee to a loop while you can oneshot them, and once they go down, you have a 40 meter Infectious Fright, that's massive and will help you a lot in finding other survivors.
