Splinter offerings

I play dead by daylight often though I don't usually play killer. A few weeks ago I started playing killer more often and while doing a survivor daily ritual I found a killer using a bone splinter offering. I was confused then realized what it was and after playing and spending lots of BP's on many killers (even got 2 ebony Moris on doctor) and never once did I find one of those offerings. I don't spend money on this game so I don't have any of the DLCs besides the huntress one so I wanted to ask, how rare is it to actually find one of these offerings and does it only appear on PC? (I play console, Xbox specifically)

    They are hard as heck to find, the RNG wasnt in your favor. i found 2 Leatherface Splinters and 1 Freddy Splinter. in 43 Bloodwebs

    Their drop rate is pretty low on the blood-web itself... (compared to other drops) and if you're looking for a specific splinter than the drop rate goes even lower.

    Like Huntress said above, the RNG just needs to be in your favor on this one. If you want to know how rare the splinters are... there is no exact drop rate on record, at least there isn't one that I could find.

    They're about as rare as a BPS or Pudding is... so you could get a lot of them at one time or none for awhile... similar to Bloody Party Streamers or Puddings.
