Needs to be fixed and it's easy to do so

Bodyblocking

Fix what about bodyblocking?
What even is the issue?
10 -
I agree with this. Body blocking is the antithesis of the core idea of this game. The survivor should just be moved a side if the killer tries to moves through them.
2 -
Get ready for body blocking SWF teams with the latest update. I think breakout will be meta.
11 -
Run Mad Grit.
12 -
Doesn't stack.
And if that keeps happening, I'll just run legions perk
5 -
Then you are going to love this.

I wish i could #####slap survivors out of the way as the killer and put the survivor on the hook.
0 -
Slap them out the way, or drop the one and smack the other one's down.
8 -
If a survivor bodyblocks, they trade a health state for the ability to block. Unless the killer has to carry the survivor far to make it to a hook or the survivor got to use flip flop, at least 2 bodyblocks will be needed. Bodyblocking isn't free.
Killers can make good use out of bodyblocking too. From instadown killers getting near-guaranteed downs on survivors trying to hide to stuff like windstorm wraith blocking pallets and vaults.
That new perk is specialized for bodyblocking but there's perks that help the killer with carrying survivors too. Mad Grit in particular might be hilarious to use against players that really want to put Breakout to use, and Agitation makes the speed boost of the bodyblocker less relevant.

Just because you don't like something doesn't mean it needs to be fixed. Get good

This is the most pointless forum ever

I'm sure we can find way more pointless forums if we look

Bodyblocking is officially a form of cheating. That's why it's listed as a reportable offense.
If you do it, you need to learn a better way to play.

Body blocking is trash
Just tunnel the person blocking, make sure u slug them at every chance, then when u had your fill of greatness, hook and camp them. 😈😈
(Sarcasm) tho if u wanted to do that i wont jugde you😏
1 -
No, body blocking the survivors and not let the survivors to play the game. That and body blocking other survivors to get them hooked. Body blocking the killer is not.

Bodyblocking is just one of the few mechanics which require somewhat of skill, ahead thinking, coordination and teamwork. Do you want to make playing survivor even more braindead and even more just holding M1 as it already is?? Deal with it, bodyblocking is great and should stay.

I have a problem with bodyblocking when another survivor blocks me in a corner out of toxicity or who knows what reason. I am seriously reluctant to cleanse a totem in a corner, or take corner side of a gen if someone is near me. One time I had 3 crows hoovering my head by the time survivor finally decided to release me. It is annoying to be blocked by your teammate.
If you thought you were invisible back there and a Billy saw you, and downed you bodyblocking, too bad next time hide better. Or you were trying to take a survivor to your half across the map basement, guess what other survivors don't want that and do anything to prevent that. Next time choose a closer hook. These are not against any rules.

Don't have it

Get good, you obv haven't played the game enough to know how frustrating it is

I had a 4man swf bodyblocking, flashlight game, I lost and they 99% exit gate and tea bag, I hate players like that
1 -
It shouldn't stay and takes no skill like holding M1, you just crouch still, grow up

You guys should consider revising the terminology.
Body blocking to hold hostage should have a different name, this way people don't misconstrue this rule. Call it "soft locking" because you are locking the survivor in place with no way to move even though the game continues to function (also the term exists in other games with basically a similar meaning). This way if you say body block you say it as a legit tactical means to an end. Where soft locking is an exploit that can be reported.

mad cuz bad

Ahm, purple to red ranks every month... XBOX...
Body blocking is not an issue... I'm gonna guess one out of four situations is what is messing with you:
1° As survivor, the killer traps you in a corner (probably a "one hit downed" killer). How did you get there in the first place? What desicions did you take to put yourself in that possition? Your fault not his...
2° As killer, you're trying to desperatelly get a kill at the end game by following an injured survivor whyle another one gets in your way and they all managed to escape because of it... If this is the case... Then yes... @brokedownpalace is right... you need to get good... If you killed the survivors there would be no one to body block the other survivors right?
3° As survivor your teammate(s) body blocked you (sand bagging) and you got killed. Play SWF or just deal with it, it happens a lot in solo, part of the difficulty of playing alone.
4° As killer, the survivors block your way to the hook and if this is actually something that gets on your nerves either use Mad Grit, Agitation and/or Iron grasp to solve it.
4 -
Lol been playing since its release on ps4. Nice try tho.
1 -
If you're really that against body blocking the easiest and most obvious solution is to hit the survivors. They will run scared when they are injured and if they don't hit them again and get a free hook :)

"1° As survivor, the killer traps you in a corner (probably a "one hit downed" killer). How did you get there in the first place? What desicions did you take to put yourself in that possition? Your fault not his..."
If I'm Billy I will sit and nod at the survivor for about 10 seconds so that the reality can set in of how stupid of a decision it was to hide in a corner against a one shot killer. Then I chainsaw them. LOL
1 -
Survivours do want you to get a hook, IT'S APART OF THE GAME KILLERS DO WHAT THEY WANT THAT IS MANDATORY TO THE GAME
0 -
I'm talking about when a killer is holding a survivour or when a killer is chasing a survivour and other teammates run in front of you so you can't hit them
0 -
Yea that's... not reportable dude.
It's called protection. If a survivor does this while you are carrying another survivor, depending on how far you are from the hook, the best counter tends to be just drop the survivor. Slugging is as effective as hooking in terms of slowing the game, and if you had picked up the survivor right away there is no way they could have recovered. They will be on the ground for at least 20 seconds or more depending on how aggressive the other survivors are at healing them. And if you have 2 or 3 survivors trying to protect this person, that means 0 of them are doing gens. Just hit one, go back, hit another that tried to heal, go back, hit the third. Yea the guy might get up off the ground but now all 4 of them are injured, which is a better position to be in anyway.
And if it's a situation where you could just hit the guy and make the hook then... hit the guy and make the hook.
You're mad that survivors are playing tactically and taking hits for each other. That's literally part of playing survivor, protecting other survivors that are closer to death.
Play some survivor and you will see it's not that big of a deal. There are so many counter play options in almost every situation.

Does this supposed to mean something? Sorry I couldn't get the point.
0 -
This. My first thought when I saw that perk.
0 -
You are clearly killer biased. Play some survivor and git gud.
1 -
if someone was trying to kill you and your friends in real life, wouldnt you try to get in the way of a fatal blow if you would only be wounded?
get real, dude.
if they body block on their way to the gate, take the loss. i do.
0 -
If you play the game enough body blocking stops being an issue. Keep walking to the hook and don't swing until they're in range. Bodyblocking is only annoying if everybody comes to the hook, but at that point, you'll have everyone injured and no-one on gens.
0 -
Bodyblocking isn't bannable. If it bothering you run iron grasp with agitation and mad grit
0 -
Why should I, that's 3 perk slots gone
0 -
Cause you want to be able to hook a survivor so here are three perks to help you out with bodyblocking survivors.
0 -
I meant to put so survivours not want you to hook someone which is apart of the game basically
0 -
I am good lol
0 -
Should just be able to walk through survivours after a certain time of them standing still in your range
0 -
Yh its horrible and with lack of killers able to deal with them the only thing u can do atm is just dodge lobby its not worth stress / your enjoyment shouldn't be taken away because some sweaty group.
0 -
"It's only cheating when killers do it"
0 -
just smack them if they try to body block and you are close to a hook not even with 2 body blocks they will get it man, in fact i lvoe body blocking SO MANY FREE HITS, if you are far away from one at least u should be able to get a free hit.
2 -
If you hate it so much. Mad Grit. That’s it.
