Nemesis removes the downside from Judith's journal

In practice, isn't this going to work out too much like a stronger version of J. Myers memorial (40% bonus up from 25%)?

Once you're in T2, it's not very hard to get pallet stunned, if that's what you wish.

This means you can find any survivor with evil left in them and proceed to easilty stalk out a ton from them.

I'm thinking this combo might make T3 a little too spammable.

Nah..this is already possible with furtive chase anyway and as you can see it changed nothing..besides once you see he has it..avoid stunning much like with spirit fury..then the perk does nothing at all

I'm not worried about the oblivious part. It's the fact that you can turn any survivor into a target that is worth 40% more stalk.

Until now, the addon has been balanced by the fact that you needed to find your obsession in order to get this great bonus, but now you can just turn the first survivor you find into your obsession rather easily (once you're out of T1, that is).

Yup. Another combo I found out about while talking with a random guy on reddit about possible uses of Nemesis. It def looks strong. Not to mention you can combine that with perma 3 or an insta kill addon... This perk rises so many question and balance issues for so many things. Rancor during end game is another possible use where you can actually down multiple targets and then kill them. I actually dont know how many other obsession related addons there are in the game that may get affected by this perk in a very powerfull way.. And we talk about a perk where you have to stun the killer just once to activate while you are not the obsession ...

It's going to make remember me and play with your food easier to stack, but I wouldn't see this as broken. At least no more than enduring/spirit fury. Just a decent perk combo.

I don't mind at all that dark devotion and furtive chase combo well with it, as these perks have not been super strong anyway.

As for rancor: Even if you could perhaps mori multiple survivors, I think the exposed effect would only happen once, and it doesn't seem too crazy. It's the very end game after all, and having multiple perks that are mainly useful for the endgame comes with opportunity cost.

On the add-on side, there aren't too many that depend on the obsession status. There's black box, but that's only at the start of the game so that doesn't matter.

The only thing I see as problematic is therefore Judith's journal.

They gave myers the yellow memorial flower with slightly and the green J. Myers memorial with moderately. They could have added a purple one with considerably, but didn't continue the set that far. Probably with good reason. And now, with nemesis, it's kind of like they did.

It could get pretty oppressive, especially comboed with the fragrant tuft of hair.

It doesn't change the amount of stalk in a game though, you're still hard capped with how many tier 3s you can gain, so I don't have a problem.

They want obsession switching to be relevant? This is the sort of stuff that's going to happen because of it.

Myers loves to respect pallets and stalk you, though. It's a lose-lose. Drop it early and get stalked, stun him and give him a stalking bonus.

Super fast fragrant tuft of hair is still a thing. And if you let Myers stalk everyone completely, you've probably lost and he's farming you at this point.

Lol that would be quite amusing..if legion doesnt see the perk ruined that is

Enduring spirit fury are two perks. It requires 3 pallets to be played before it's a lose-lose scenario for the survivor. Myers can stalk you with moderate bonus at best from one add-on.

Nemesis is one perk. It requires only 1 pallet to be played before it's a lose-lose scenario for the survivor. Myers gets to stalk you with considerable bonus from one add-on.

It's not "different", it's just stronger. Too strong in my estimation.

I could actually see it working to swap out ruin for nemesis. No one's gonna be working on gens much if you can tier up faster and slug everyone, lol. I kinda wanna try this...

I don't think it's gonna be that big of a problem. Survivors can throw pallets down early to prevent becoming obsession. This was also possible before using Furtive Chase and going after the unhooker each time.

It was, but I think this way synergizes better with a tuft of hair+journal. With Furtive chase, you gotta down ppl to swap obsessions. With this...just gotta swap targets when ya see a new guy.

True I didn't think of that. I guess we'll see though how this perk affects Michael. It's a unique concept.

Was actually thinking of a similar combo with Bubba. Using this perk with PWYF will let you turn any survivor your currently chasing into your obsession, thus...PWYF stacks on an instadown killer...yikes, lol.

That does sound like a nasty combo. Maybe I'll try it at some point.

Every non-basement Bubba will use this. One they stun you, if there are high walls you have a good chance of cutting them off and chainsawing them due to zero terror radius. If they get away, free stack. Win-win.

Not a problem, though, since I reckon Bubba needs buffs way more than Mikey.

Personally, Id just build up 3 stacks by looking away, then keep running around with 3 stacks. Down a person by using 1 stack, then get it back from the next survivor who I chase and get stunned by. The aura reading should make it pretty much impossible to lose them right away.

"And that makes EW3 a little spammable". No it doesn't, your stalk isn't unlimited, so you can only acces EW3 a few times in a match. I don't see this combo being too strong and worth of a nerf. It might become a decent synergy, but far away from overpowered.
