Maybe if more survivors were good...
If more survivors were better, the devs would realize how unbalanced the game is and fix it.
Maybe if the devs fixed those broken loops then I, the power role and serial murderer, wouldnt be stressed out. Maybe if survivor took more skill then players(The lower ranks) would get better by default.
Maybe if Base Objective aka Generators were changed, then the old players who ditched it might come back, killers with little map pressure would prosper and survivors wouldnt be so bored they have to get caught for fun bc thats what I have to do sometimes.
This is all I have to say. Oh and yes, it is clickbait, but it got you to read it yes? Tell me how balanced the game is below

Nah I actually typically play fairly well. Thats mainly because I am unable to play low tier killers due to all the problems above. I want to play them but survivors are really good and optimal and rank 1

People love to say the majority of rank 1's are these gods who never make mistakes and are the greatest in the game. Meanwhile, in reality, the majority of rank 1 players are complete dumbasses.

There is a pattern of behavior, typically players have a series of bad matches and feel like sharing their experiences (which can be amusing to read as I can sympathise with them) on the forums. I mean I am just as guilty as a post from me about ranks and pip usually means I didnt not have fun deranking in a series of matches for whatever reason.
To me a fun match is being able to stuff, get some points and not depip.

Unfortunately the horde of entitled survivors will win we all complain about things its only normal.
Just wait soon there will be post about why does it take hours to find a killer.
No one will want play killer with rate of nerf killers have been getting why bother playing killer at all.

see whereas killers have to figure out mindgames, survivors run in circles, hold a button, and have a 3rd person view. Its not that killers are better, they take more skill.

trapper can snowball so well bro of course you did. I am rank 1 on both survivor and killer. My main bruv rn is easily freddy, but ghostface is cool too and i play them mostly and will resume playing spirit after nerf.

Right, but I don't play like a usual Trapper. I like long, extended games with both sides getting good points. I would go out of my way to make games longer, even if that meant not getting a 3 or 4k.

Both sides can say it about the other. Its clearly the opinions of those that dont play much of the other side. The game is currently more balanced than it has ever been. Its nowhere near perfect but its in a good place. If you cant see that you're wearing "main coloured glasses"...

I feel like there are at least 15-20 pallets (Idk) in a map. Image if one Survivor uses all pallets in a single chase, but they 'can optimize' the pallets like extend the chase just 10sec per pallets, it will be likely 150-200sec. 3 other survivors can repair 2 Gen each.

Well, unlike survivors, killer should be the power role. It's 4 of them vs. 1 of you. Of course the 1 player should be stronger in a 1v1.

Exactly. Lol people think looping is an easy task lol. Especially if you are accidentally running towards a teammate and you then have to redirect the killer to the farthest away pallet without getting hit. Such a stressful job lol.

Killer got pretty boring for me, it really depends on the loop tbh, open loops usually don’t take much but ones with LOS blockers are definitely harder.

On certain maps like autohaven it is a bit easy imo but it definitely can be hard on certain maps, like Lery’s/Hawkins.

Hawkins and Lery's is easy if you have Lithe.

There is much truth to this post. Survivors will disagree because they won't admit they're not good. If everyone was a "godly" (aka half decent) survivor there would be no killer players. Marth88 and his depip squad have demonstrated how broken this game can be, even without direct comms.
But yes nerf spirit. She's the real problem. Gen speed and god loops are fine stop complaining you killer mains kappa

Things have gotten better since that experiment, you could easily get carried by pallet vacuum back then.

Survivors don't have to be good, they just have to focus on gens and not waste time - that's the current state of the game.
I know some very good killers who play a lot less or completely stopped playing because of this. You can also see this when you take a look at the queue times: instant for killer and survivors have to wait (at least on PS4).

I never said that you can win every time. But the mythical 4 man swf that makes no mistakes is pretty damn rare. But I've also said many times that lower tier killers need some QoL changes.

But you can't balance around outliers. No matter what you'll always have large skill gaps in a game like this.

Games like siege balance around competitive players. If you do that, then the not as good players will inevitably become better. Right now the skill for survivors is their ability to run in circles most efficiently which takes a while to figure out and master loops. Now im not saying that survivors should be nerfed right? I am saying that they need to rework generators completely to make them

- not as boring
- more engaging
- More thrilling and really anything that isnt just holding a button
They need to do an endgame collapse to generators because that is something all players can adapt to

Most survivors only get as good as they need in order to survive.
Take the old repair speed of generators. Before patch 1.5.0 gen repair was 70 seconds. After the patch, 80 seconds. What happened? Gens started to get repaired faster. Why? Well one because sabo was gutted and no one was wasting time doing that. Two, pallets were starting to be reduced. Survivors couldn't waste time by running to pallet havens so they focused on repairing.
Time goes on and Ruin gets fixed. Ruin turns out was supposed to pause the gen repaire after hitting a good skill check. It just took the Devs forever to fix. Now that ruin was good killers started to run it more. Some survivors grew tired of running around searching for it and started learning how to hit Hex skill checks. This translated to hitting Great Skill checks against killers without Ruin, speeding up repair time even more.
This is why I considered old survivors lazy. All this was possible back in the day. Gens could of been completed in under three minutes if they wanted to. It wasn't untill it became a necessity that they started playing more efficiently.

I'm one of those players that plays both roles and really enjoys a game that is challenging. I don't want any free wins. I want to earn my victories through skill.

me too actually but no one should lose because they lack the ability to win. They should lose because they lack the skill or made mistakes. When gens can go that quick, theres times where you dont have the chance to slow the game.

Yeah it's why red ranks are slightly more fun as killer near rank reset - survivors as bad as me can get there thanks to how easy it is to pip up...Though thanks to the tome challenges (stunning killer twice is my hardest one as I tend to 'immerse' till nearer to end game so most pallets are gone) I've been doing far too much survivor this time :P

Your statement could go both ways.

The game punishes YOU (Both Survivor and Killer) for the mistakes you make, and by mistakes I don't mean simply missing a hit or not timing the loop correctly, I mean an overall understanding of the tools/map/way survivors/killers play.
Notice how everyone wants to claim "gen rush", yet nobody bothers to talk about how much slugging and camping there is. Everyone wants to talk about how "broken" loops are, but nobody bothers to talk about how broken some loops are against survivors... you pretty much ignore the pallet and swing, or dead zones that have nothing in them to even run around in a circle.
Yep, game is unbalanced...but it was never balanced to begin with and it will never be.

camping is a bad strategy. It takes what 2 min 30 sec to die on hook yes? Okay so it takes like less than 3 min to complete all gens.
Of course people will slug, i slug when the team i verse is dicks but if theyre nice, i play the hatch game. I also try to slug ds. That is just smart. Would you rather get tunneled til death or slugged?
Camping is trash (unless at end of match) and I wouldnt have to slug if there wasnt a ds. This doesnt compare to how strong survivors can be. This is annoying playstyle vs OP playstyle.
