3-4 survivor SWF teams required to repair 6 generators?
There's no denying the large advantage that SWF provides. Through comms you can get valuable information such as killer perks, totem locations, progress info on a gen on the other side of the map, etc. If you have a savvy enough team on comms, they can render a killer's perks useless. How does the community feel about possibly upping the required generator count to 6 for SWF teams of 3 or 4?
I'd rather this discussion be about the post and not the one who posted. I'm a balanced player, I find both killer and survivor equally enjoyable.

Even swf teams have problems with 3 gen. Now imagine a 2 gen

I think it would be fine with a 4 man swf but a 3 man swf would be unfair to the solo. I think there should be a built in corrupt intervention that cuts of 4 gens and then every 2 minutes 1 gen becomes active.

Mechanical nerfs or handicaps will quite simply never be applied to SWF parties.

Killers required to git gud and realise that not every game is meant to end in a 4k?

And not every game end with toxic survivors bullying the killer. There needs to be a middle ground. Unfortunately, it does not appear the devs are doing anything about it.

That one solo survivor is gonna have a ton of fun

Yeah, I don't think so.

Buff the killer then when against SWF; at least when it's a 4 man anyways.

yes ,should be implemented into the game

well thats the point , survivours who get destroyed in a game shouldn't cry and send hate to the killer , i say get gud to the moaning survivours lol oh and you

lol get good

Reminds me of the recent event and the blighted generators. The killers knew survivors would get extra blood from repairing blighted generators, then proceeeded to mass use hex ruin and other slow downs so survivors were not able to repair as many blighted generators.

Maybe speed up the rate that the killer gets bloodlust when in a chase against someone in a swf group? Also not entirely sure how practical this would be, but if comms were based on proximity so you couldn't hear your teammates all the way across the map and had to be quiet when the killer is near you, I feel like that would actually be really fun. Again, not sure how realistic/practical it would be to implement something like that, but it would definitely make things interesting

Just... add an extra Gen to each map.

It's not punishing them it's balancing the game. Right now it punishes killers; why should a killer be punished because you are playing with your friends, it works both ways.
The difference is one way is actually making it actually fair and better for everyone involved; the buff doesn't even need to be anything overly aggressive just enough to even things out so it would hardly even be "Punishing" to begin with.

It's a step towards addressing a problem that has existed for a long time; that people have already been dealing with frustrations in for a long time. To refuse anything that isn't a direct survivor boon because it might makes things slightly more balanced; and be little more than any other partial nerf in the game vs a staggeringly large problem is just ignorant.
There are also plenty of other ways to approach it I am sure but trying to dismiss an actual problem because you don't want a more fair match it's ridiculous.
I saw another idea that is far better than my own as well; in which all communication aspects are improved so even folks not in the SWF or such would benefit and then as survivors inevitably start performing so much better killers would then be buffed just enough to accommodate; bringing them up to around the SWF competitive without hurting solo as much.
Or sure, I guess we can just put our fingers in our ears and just go "La la la la la la" but in the end something has to change regardless.

Nerp. 9/10 killer has on ruin or BBQ&C nowadays and so survivor mains KNOW what to look out for so with that being said, I don't consider it "rendering a killers perks useless" when every killer uses it. People almost instinctively hop in lockers nowadays because killers tend to run BBQC. Are survivors expected to play idiots more so than they already do? Ijs when people run the same perks every match you start to catch on to trends and, in a sense, survivor instincts start to kick in.

Exactly like when killers expect ds and exhaustion perks from survivors its just common sense and meta base perks on both sides

The game should deny 3th party apps like discord ant team speak so SWF won’t be able to CHEAT anymore.

That's a terrible idea and completely unenforcable. Even if they did ban the use of these apps whats to stop people from using them on other devices or talking to each other with phones while they play.

Well, yes. But the whole "git gud" thing is kinda getting old and annoying.
And yes. The main thing is though with those toxic Survivor groups is that we as a community need to look internally and start working on that issue. Not relying on the devs to come up with a solution for us.

Phones?? Really? They have to be dedicated nolifers to do that. Majority of ppl would accept it and play FAIR.

I doubt that's the case. Over half of survivors are 2 man SWF or higher last time they released stats. All those people would either find a different way to talk or just stop playing.

How do you propose "we as a community look internally?" There is no internal governing player body or unified community, nor mechanism for such. If the devs allow people to toxic, there will always be ones who take advantage of it. This is the devs problem to fix.

We all stop camping, slugging, tunnelling, mass body blocking, flashlighting at pallets and teabagging at exit games.
For a start.

What if that 4 man team just want to have fun? Not everything should be seen as a competitive gameplay when a swf joins a lobby.
If the devs was to try to do something like that, then suriviors can argue, every time a killer brings in a Mori or any ultra rare add ons, the number of gens should be reduced. Why should the killer get punish when all they want to do is test out add ons or see what a Mori of a killer looks like?
That's how unfair it sounds like if one side get punish for them just wanting to have fun. The devs even said so themselves that fun is the main priority of there game, otherwise no one would buy there game.
To put it simple, if the devs was to nerf gen time for all suriviors, then solo suriviors would have an hard time. If they were to nerf gen time for just a specific number of swf, then it would just be unfun, especially if the killer decides to bring out Spirit, nurse or any strong killer. So there really isn't any way to solve this problem.

In what reality will people ever stop doing this on their own? This kind of stuff only changes with dev intervention.

One can dream.
