Devs Don't Care About Stealing

Alright DBD dev team I'm calling you out, time and time again you are screwing people over and don't seem to care.

First lets talk about your "bright" idea to release all exclusive skins. First off it's idiotic, and a really round about way to fix a problem. You are screwing people over who bought the skins and got them by making them free for everyone You're screwing the people who paid for the skins and didn't get them because again you're giving them away to everyone. And for the people who didn't buy into the skins at all, you're giving away all the exclusive skins people worked hard to get from events that everyone had access to and just didn't do it. (And before anyone comments, I don't mean consoles, I think they should have some sort of mini event on the days like Halloween to get the skins that were released prior. Still don't just get handed them, but have access to get them) I'll name one specifically the Huntress mask. To get that skin you had to play killer during a time killer was almost impossible, you made it where flashlights and pallets would save anyone at any time, and people had to struggle through that for the skin. I did, and now my hard work means nothing. The easiest way to solve this problem would be to do what League of Legends did. They told everyone to use their codes, and after a certain date all un-used codes would be expired. Boom, no more black market when people can't actually give any valid codes ever, problem solved, people don't get pissed off for you taking away what you promised. And for people who defend the devs by saying exclusive skins shouldn't be exclusive, the meaning of the word exclusive itself is that they are limited to the people who did the event in the first place, giving them away after means they weren't exclusive and devalues people who worked to get them, or paid real money for it in the first place. If you don't care about that, you don't have to, but others who did work for it do care.

On the same topic of skins we'll now talk about Deathgarden. You already screwed over all the beta players who actually played during CLOSED beta by giving away all of the exclusive skins that you said yourself were exclusive to beta players, and you gave them to everyone for free on launch. All promises you made about Deathgarden you lied about, and now that it's finally closing down, you're going to release everything to everyone, and make the game free giving everyone the special masks for DBD too?! A lot of people are pissed off, myself included because I paid for all of that. I paid real money for you to screw me over time and time again, and now I get nothing for what I paid for. Even the game itself people tried to help you fix it and you ignored them and did your own thing, look how that turned out.

Speaking of ignoring people trying to help make your game better, I just had another bug in DBD happen to me in game again. This is the same bug that I've reported multiple times, it's the same bug that I recorded video of to show you EXACTLY what is happening and why, and you've never mentioned it in any updates, you've never acknowledged that it was a bug, never said any plans of fixing it or even working on it. Well known streamers have had it happen in their games too and yet it's being overlooked, I can only assume purposefully with how many times it's been shoved in your face. For those of you who don't know this bug, if a survivor is injured and vaults a pallet towards you and you press M1 to swing at them, you instead get locked to the pallet for a moment and swing at the pallet letting them vault through you and keep running. The game is trying to "grab" an injured survivor, and swing at the same time and it glitches out the game. This has been around since launch, and many people have tried to get it fixed and it's being ignored. It's frustrating and the killer can't do anything about it because it's the game doing it.

A lot of veteran players are just tired of being screwed over by you time and time again, I know I don't want to spend any more money into anything you make ever again if this is how you're going to keep treating people. Hell, you didn't even give an option to convert money spent from Deathgarden into DBD since you own them both, you just decided to say screw everyone. (You could give people the $30+ spent for Deathgarden, and the price of DLC's they bought for it into cells for DBD) You only mentioned refund because half the playerbase was yelling at you for it, then did a really poor response letting people who just bought the game get any kind of refund, while people who worked to get the game up and running get nothing, and by nothing I mean lose everything you promised them. You need to get your act together or everyone is going to end up leaving, once they realize all you plan to do is steal from them.

Actually no, BVHR may make the skins, but if you buy or earn a skin that is labeled as exclusive, then they turn around and give them away, they don't just get to say that's what they're doing without lying to everyone. That's the problem, they lie about everything, make promises that they don't intend to keep, then just go on their way like nothing happened. And a solution to the black market problem because in their own stance they felt bad that people were getting ripped off, they are going to screw over all of them again in an idiotic way to solve a problem. And with the Pax skins aside, event skins weren't given away, they were earned or bought, and anyone who pays real money to BVHR themselves, not a black market deal, then lose that skins value are being stolen from.

Were any of the skins that are being given away actually labeled as exclusive, or is it just a case where they were only given out once and ppl assumed exclusivity?

Apart from that... Them giving things away is not stealing. They are not taking away from anybody.
