Moar Perks: Volume 1

Prologue

Keeping it simple, I'll create 3 perks for each role then review the previous volume to make them more balanced! ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿค—

Survivor

Determination

You feel like you got all odds on your side when you help others.

After performing a safe hook rescue that's not within the killer's Terror Radius, this perk activates for 25/35/45 seconds.

If the survivor you safely unhooked is hooked again while Determination is active, the perk deactivates and that survivor doesn't lose a hook state. That survivor will continue on the hook with a full hook state worth of time.

Nerds Rule

You seem to be more educated than others around you.

Interrupting a repair within the killer's Terror Radius gives you the Undetectable status effect for 8/10/12 seconds.

Once the Undetectable status effect for this perk ends, the next time you're outside the killer's Terror Radius, see the killer's aura for 5 seconds.

Minus Touch

You seem to have a great impact on those around you.

When the survivor you're healing reaches 75%/70%/65% on their healing progression, interrupting the heal will passively heal that survivor a health state over a duration of 16 seconds.

This effect is cancelled if the survivor changes health state or is picked up.

Killer

Obsessed With Choas

You love the joy of choas.

Become Obsessed with a survivor.

When your Obsession is hooked, the Obsession is blocked in by the Entity for 40/50/60 seconds and cannot be unhooked in any way. The Obsession hook timer is paused while they are blocked in by the Entity.

Attacking a survivor while the Obsession is blocked in by the Entity will give you and the Obsession a stackable 2% haste effect, up to a maximum of 10% from this perk.

Hex: Blood Heist

The more they bleed, the more stronger you are.

You have a hex tied to your lust for blood.

If any survivor is injured, a timer starts counting down from 60 seconds. When the timer reaches 0 seconds, the timer resets back to its it's starting time and you gain a token.

Gain the following bonuses with tokens:

  • 2 Tokens: 15%/20%/25% faster sacrifice speed when you're further than 48 meters from the hook.
  • 4 Tokens: Unhooked survivors are inflicted by Deep Wounds when you're further than 48 meters to the hook. The unhooked survivor has 30/25/20 seconds to mend.
  • 6 Tokens: Injured survivors reveal their auras to you when you're further than 48 meters to them.

Hex effects will persist as long as the related Hex is standing.

Savage Predictions

You know your prey very well.

When a survivor you chase drops a pallet and doesn't stun you, receive a token, up to a maximum of 5/4/3 tokens. If a survivor stuns you with a pallet, lose all tokens.

When at maximum tokens, the next time a survivor drops a pallet, the pallet will break upon impact and you'll lose all of your tokens.

Epilogue

Feedback is always appreciated! ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿค—

Determination: I think thisโ€™d be too strong.

Nerds rule: how would undetectable work for survivors?

minus touch: feels like Iโ€™d waste time.

Obsessed with chaos: this perk seems balanced but nobody wants to be trapped for a minute. :(

    Hex:blood heist:seems nice

    savage predictions:seems good

    Determination

Determination: I think thisโ€™d be too strong.

It depends, the perk won't activate if you perform a hook rescue in the killer's Terror Radius. To add upon that, the killer still gets a hook that requires survivors to get off of objectives.

The point of this perk is to compensate unhooked survivors if they were found again after they successfully hid themselves.

Nerds rule: how would undetectable work for survivors?

    Undetectable: Survivors

    • Your aura cannot be read by the killer.
    • Your scratch marks are hidden to the killer.
    • You do not make grunts of pain when injured.
    • You do not leave a blood trail when injured.

minus touch: feels like Iโ€™d waste time.

This perk can be very useful when there are multiple injured survivors or slugs.

Just heal them to 65% and they will automatically gain a health state by themselves.

This is useful because you can heal someone to 65% then let them heal you to full. By the time they heal you to full, your perk would've healed them โ€” this saves you from wasting 35% of healing time. :P

Obsessed with chaos: this perk seems balanced but nobody wants to be trapped for a minute. :(

It's depends because if the killer camps me, I wanna be trapped because I get an extra 60 seconds on the hook and time for my teammates to punish.

Maybe I could change the perk description to say, "Pauses the Obsession's hook timer for 60 seconds"?

The perk also gives a survivor a haste effect, this effect is rarely seen in Dead by Daylight. Therefore, I thought, why not make a perk around haste since it's so rare? ๐Ÿ˜

Everything else you seemed on board with, so I'll skip the last two killer perks! :D

undetectable for survivors is a thing I've been thinking about myself for a while now, and I think the perk you suggested is cool, and all of them are actually super interesting. however, did you mean to say Midas touch? lol

The survivor perk names don't fit at all but that's all the complaints I have. Great work!
