Hillbilly or Cannibal?
Following up my "Question For Killers" post, I wanted to ask another question to interact with the community more. What killer do you all prefer? The fast and spoopy Hillbilly, or the devastating tusken raider Cannibal?

I think both of these killers are really powerful, but I just wanted to know what other people prefer, because I want to interact more. (I'm not very social. lol)

Hillbilly is definitely the more powerful one. Even taking the instant down out of the equation, you can get across the map so fast and keep the pressure up. Sprint burst? More like no, haHAhaha.
Cannibal just has a stronger camping game, is what I've noticed. He can down multiple people with a single chainsaw, but the only time you'll do that is when they're locked into animations like unhooking. Or if they're super careless.
I would have totally picked hillbilly, if it weren't for the turning speed curve. I used to play him all the time at launch. It felt super solid to play. I had no issue with the flick going, either. But at some point they tweaked the turning speed, and now if I blink too hard at the start of a chainsaw, I've got a 50% chance of doing a 90 degree turn with sensitivity way higher than normal and smashing my face into a wall. I could just get used to it, but that's effort. If someone wants to hook me up with classic chainsaw controls, we're gucci.

Yeah. In my experience, he can be more fun too

I like Leatherface more but he pales in comparison to Hillbilly. Billy has speed and can actually do something about pallets and windows. Bubba is too slow and can't chainsaw mind game/body block pallets and windows. The only thing Bubba does better is chainsawing rescuers and completely shutting down hook rescues. When you absolutely positively want one ######### dead then Bubba is your man. If you stand in front of a hook with the chainsaw revving then they're not getting rescued.Yeah. The one thing Bubba does incredibly well is punish altruism. Nobody else can do that better.

Overall you're most likely better off with Billy due to his movement. Leatherface is fun though.

Yeah; Leatherface is kind of carefree fun.

Just to illustrate the difference. I had two matches with both of them:Crotus Penn Asylum with Bubba. Find someone, hit them, could not get a chainsaw unfortunately, they book it to the cancer building with pallets and vaults everywhere. I try to break the chase, chase others, every single time they made it back into the building and wasted more time with their god pallets. Ruin goes down by minute two roughly. I eventually broke every single pallet in the building, hooked two, all gens get done, find another guy and chase him back into the building. No pallets this time and it was an easy chainsaw. But by that point the guy I had on a hook was freed. I hook the 3rd guy and camp because the gates are obviously open now and one guy half-heartedly comes over to rescue but the guy kills himself. I chase that other guy and he was far enough away where he easily got out the gate.
End result: 1 kill. 3 hooks. De-pip.
Multiple times -had I been using Billy instead- I could have chainsawed over and stopped them from getting into the building and I easily could have gotten the last guy and secured at least 2 kills.
Fractured Cowshed with Billy. You could argue that Cowshed is just as bad as the Asylum with the barn loop and the pig carcass loop. Immediately find a guy and give chase, break a few annoying pallets, ruin goes down, happen to find another guy and chainsaw and hook him. I chainsaw away to go after someone but my first hook gets rescued. I chainsaw back and down him again and try to go for others but there's just too many pallets. I hook him again, try to chase someone else, break more pallets, watch a gen regress and protect it. One guy keeps trying to bait me to chase him but my 1st hook is just about dead. 1st hook down, 1 guy dead, 1 gen done. Give chase, down another guy, break more pallets, another hook and another gen gets done. BTW Ruin was taken out roughly 30 seconds in the match. Chase more people, get more hooks, eventually kill the 2nd guy, 2 gens left, find another guy and somehow keep him away from the cancer barn loop. Hook him and the last guy who I injured shows up with BBQ. Got him.
End result: 4 kills. 7 hooks. 2 pips.
The results kind of speak for themselves...
Yeah, I know. Hillbilly is a lot more effective in general.

Hillbilly since leatherface HAS to come right behind the victim or his power won't work. Until he gets closer, he is your typical M1 killer.

Canibal on open space any juke or 360 don't help you0

When I wanna sit down and have a nice fun game. It's BIlly boy.
When I wanna mine Salt it's time for a party in Bubba's basement of love.
Bubba for me is strictly a SWF tool now. I see SWF I pick Bubba, Iron Grasp, Agitation, BBQ and Insidious. Because screw those fun sucking SWF's groups.

LF FTW! He has the best basement parties.

Hillbilly because you can just feel that power! The minute you rev that chainsaw and go around the map and “accidentally” hit someone; always brings a smile to my face1
-
I like LF more, even though Hillbilly is better in almost every way in comparison. He has better Map Control, doesn't lose distance towards a survivor while charging his chainsaw, charges faster, has more AddOn-Variety.
Bubby on the other hand is good at punishing mistakes, farming, avoiding certain jukes and might allow you to destroy pallets faster. Also is immune against certain jukes (360, Locker). But lacks in so many other ways. If you have survivors, that are decent in using pallets and vaults, then they kind aturn you into a normal M1 killer instead.
As much as I love him, I just wish sometimes Devs would rework him and AddOns in a way, that he feels better to play with more AddOn variety and a nice base kit someday0 -

Billy is better, but in my opinion Bubba is funnier to play and is better in some situations.. I star to play him only to unlock BBQ but now I realy enjoy LF (rank 14
