Sacrifices Too Loud

When other survivors get sacrificed, I go deaf for half a minute while the terrible noise destroys my ears. I don't keep my headphones loud because of the heartbeat as it is, but this is killing me. I can't hear anything, or the heartbeat, or the killer approaching or anything else. Can we get this reduced? Even if it was only heard to those in close proximity the volume has to come down. I have the regular game noises at an acceptable volume I'm comfortable with but this is beyond manageable. I don't want to turn down everything for fear of missing the heartbeat, or generator sounds, or hex totems, etc.

The pain isn't from the sound of their screams, it's from the fear that you're next...!

or the heartbeat, or the killer approaching or anything else.

Once, i got killed because of the sacrifice sound and the killer just going my direction...

You might want to adjust the simulated surround settings on your headphones/sound card. If the screaming is overtaking the killers heartbeat this might be the culprit and not an actual volume issue.
