Nurse rework - stacking fatigue
I had an idea for reworking nurse, making her power token based.
Every time you do a chain blink, doesn't matter if 1 or more blinks, you get a token. For each token you have, your fatigue after a blink would be longer by 0.5s This will stack up to 10 tokens making the fatigue take 5 extra seconds. Lower her base fatigue by 0.5s so after one blink it matches with the base fatigue she has.
If you haven't used your blink for 5s after not blinking you start losing your tokens 1 each second.
Than you could rework her +1 blink addons so if you do use the 3rd blink you get 2 tokens insted of one. Lower her +2 blink addon to be only +1 blink, but without the token drawback. And change pocket watch to lower the time you need to wait before starting losing tokens to 3s.
This change would add more skill lvl to players trying to manage tokens. Knowing when to let go off a chase, while not hurting people who can down you with 2 blinks. Also reward survivors for "juking" her blinks, because right now shes back on you in 2s. It will nerf her mobility as you cant just spam your blink to get around map so maybe increse her movement speed slightly (maybe 105%). And also get rid of that annoying slug everyone in the first 30s because we all spawned together.

This feels largely unnecessary, and I honestly doubt it would fly under the radar. My reason for arguing against it is that it doesn't matter how long the fatigue time is if you down the survivor beforehand. Chases would boil down to doing 2-3 blinks till the survivor is injured, then chaining 10+ blinks back to back if necessary to down him. As a survivor, you simply can't juke for that long and as the Nurse that's way too much control. Then after 5-10 seconds you can theoretically do it all over again. I just can't see either side particularly enjoying this proposed rework.

The Nurse has no reason to be nerfed. Her skill ceiling is the highest in the game and as such deserves the rewards she gets with high level play. She is however the limit of killer strength. If they make a killer stronger than her they done goofed.

Longer fatigue, yaaaaay! Fun times!
I dislike nurse in the current state, but making her more tedious isn't the solution.0 -

@PolarBear Unless it's a nerf to the stopwatch nerfing the addons won't change much. Anything aside from blink speed, fatigue time and accuracy; anything else interferes with the Nurse player's muscle memory, so it's generally advised to go without any addons or a selective few.

A good nurse doesn't need any more blinks and when you have those extra blinks even bad nurses can steamroll a game.

Did you play Nurse when she had the bug that caused her to wipe her weapon every time she hit a survivor? It was the worst play experience in the world.
Even a good Nurse can be juked/mindgamed you just have to be smart and not play obvious.0 -
No, you may not have the Nurse nerfed to compensate for your unwillingness to use her counters.

Nurse is about as perfect as she can be imo... shes the most worked on character in the game and requires the most practice and skill to use.. some players cant even play her because they get so frustrated.... leave her alone..0

Once again...
Nurse was the most heavily-nerfed character in the game's history, which then made her the worst killer in the game.
She did not receive any buffs between being the worst killer in the game and becoming the best killer in the game. All that had to happen was for survivors to get worse. They got worse by leaning more on their biggest crutches: infinites, then pallet-loops.
Nurse became better because survivors forgot how to play against her. They were told before she was nerfed how she could be beaten, but ignored it. They only paid attention after they got the unjustified nerf to happen, making her useless. Losing that information with their goldfish memories was as good as deleting the Nurse's obvious glaring weaknesses. Those weaknesses got worse during the engine-revamp, which permanently set every killer's viewpoint further forward and meant we can't see anything right in front of us.
It's never going to be enough though. Survivors will not stop trying to nerf Nurse even more.
