Cross play..
Cross play sounds really fun and good for the game. It would probably have a rough start as all things do. However, with the devs talking about it a bit recently, in the past months, over surveys and the forums as well as introducing it on pc (steam and windows)... than I think it’s safe to talk about it without our tinfoil hats on ;)
what do you think? Concerns, biggest question, hoped and wishes?

my concern is vsing pc nurses

I was actually hoping it existed already. It sure makes finding games easier in Paladins as Xbox & Switch users play together. I would just hope that it would be cross play between Xbox, Switch & PC. We already know Sony isn't gonna join in on the fun.

Don't worry, i'm literally the only one playing nurse these days. :D

PC players should be kept separate from console players. Unless the devs allow for M&K support.
The M&K players will absolutely shred the controller players.

This isn't an FPS. Even if it was it would still be fair. Playing with a mouse & keyboard doesn't automatically make you better or good.

Try playing Nurse or Huntress with a controller. The PC survivors will have a good laugh.

Well whenever I get another PC I may do just that. I only play games with a controller on the PC cause I feel it takes more skill to aim than a mouse does.

You will notice the difference when playing against M&K players.
For the record, I have 1000 hours on console. I know what I'm talking about.

I'm aware. I use to only be a PC player some time ago. I know people using a mouse can 'snap' pretty much instantly to where they want to look. It's precisely why I prefer to use a controller in all instances that I can. I like winning because I was that much better.

I would be totally on board with crossplay. I think having a larger overall playerbase would make a huge difference to many of the issues people currently have with queue times and matchmaking.
Crossplay between consoles (Xbox, PS4 and Switch) should take priority as I believe they have a smaller playerbase than PC in general, and honestly the Switch version should never have been released without it in my opinion because there were never going to be enough players on Switch to fill the queues out properly.
As a PC player, I would love to be able to play with console users mainly for matchmaking reasons, however I don't think this should be implemented before Mouse and Keyboard support is added to consoles, since the hardware does actually make a huge difference in certain areas and console players deserve to have the option to use the superior hardware if they're going to be going up against others who are using it.

I dislike how players downgrade themselves because they are console players. As a console player, you have the same amount of potential as a PC survivor going against a PC Nurse.
Dead by Daylight isn't a first person shooter where you have to make pixel perfect flicks and 360s to win as a survivor. 😁

pc huntresses and nurses seem better

Shouldn’t even be discussed until pc and consoles are optimized evenly. Consoles have really terrible frames compared to pc. Also, I agree that console should support kb/m as well.

They are, because they are playing on superior hardware that makes a huge difference to precision killers like Nurse and Huntress. I think @NMCKE's point was that as a survivor on console, mechanically speaking, you aren't really at a disadvantage compared to survivors on PC.
