Why not gain inspiration from heroes of the storm? (Rage quitters)

in heroes of the storm, if you DC during the battle, your next battle will be against other players who have also DC'ed during battles. this happens in the next battle you fight, and is then turned off in the battle after that.

that way those of us that dont rage quit wont face others that do rage quit. or rather we can, but those that JUST ragequit in that moment, are penalized to have to play one game with other rage quitters. if they dont rage quit, they're free to play versus normal players again. if you rage quit in your rage quit battle, well you get penalized again. in case the Matchmaking time gets too long it should just pit you against anyone ranked 1-20. you did ragequit after all, so who are you to complain about rank anyway.

Yeah but ragequitting survivors don't care if other players ragequit. Their goal isn't to survive. They just like to get chased, grief, then disconnect before they get hooked.

Timeouts are so much more easy and effective. Nobody likes having to wait for a game.

One hour timeout for every ragequit.

Isn’t that the average wait time between matches already
