The lesser perks of The Cursed Legacy Chapter.
So the two perks im talking about are the perks that are arguably the worst perks in the chapter.
Blood Echo: The agony of one is inflicted on others.
When hooking a Survivor, all other injured Survivors suffer from the Haemorrhage
Status Effect until healed and the Exhausted
Status Effect for 45 seconds.
Blood Echo can only be triggered once every 80/70/60 seconds.
And
Lucky Break: You've had your share of scrapes and bruises, but luck's always on your side.
Lucky Break activates any time you are injured.
While Lucky Break is active, you won't leave trails of blood for a total of 120/150/180 seconds.
Lucky Break becomes permanently deactivated for the remainder of the Trial once the total duration has elapsed.
Now, what would you guys think would be good buffs for these perks OR if you think they're fine, how would you use them effectively either in a build or by themselves? Id love to hear your ideas c:

Make Blood Echo affect every survivor regardless of Health State (It would make the perk mid tier in my opinion)
And double the amount of time you can use Lucky Break for. Given it only stops you from leaving trails a blood, something the killer most often don't see anyways unless they are paying really close attention. I think it shouldnt be restricted to just 3 minutes. (Would still be a low tier perk, but better.)

Blood Echo: Remove the freaking cooldown, who came up with that stupid idea.
Lucky Break: Make it infinite. You don't leave blood while injured.

I didnt even realize Blood Echo didn't effect survivors in all states wow. And since I couldn't play the PTB due to my graphics card dying, does Lucky Break effect dying state?
1 -
Lucky break is an awesome perk for my set of perks, soo i don't see how it's useless
I love using lithe+dance with me+iron will+urban evasion
soo if I can put the lucky break in my build it would work wonders, specially in indoors maps
2 -
Yeah but once the 3 minutes are up so is your lucky break ;p (pun intended)
1 -
wait what
I just realized it stops permantly
Darn
Well yea it needs a buff then, I rather have it every 30 seconds with a 40 second cooldown but I can use it as many times as I want
2 -
I think if they didn't wanna add a permanent timer what they could do is make it so everytime you get injured it activates for 40/50/60 seconds. Although a permanent timer would be better hehe

Lucky break is honestly decent. 3 minutes is a fair amount of time. Though I certainly wouldn't mind it being longer.
0 -
Yeah but as many other people said, blood tracking isnt a viable way of surviving ya know? Sure it works great in stealth builds but stealth builds themselves aren't the best in the current game rn.
0 -
sorry what
thats literally my meta
I can't survive without a stealth build
2 -
No Mither does that already
0 -
And it steals you a health state. No mithrr needs a rework anyway.
5 -
and it also allows infinite pick ups from the dying state AND reduced groans in the dying state too
0 -
Everything of that is no tradeoff for a missing health state, especially not the self-pickup, because the killer knows too.
2 -
and yet I still find people slugging the No Mither in the red ranks
0 -
I wouldn't call that a drawback lol. A no mither is either memeing or throwing in high ranks.
1 -
Making Lucky break infinite or restarting would be INSANELY OP.
At least this time devs didn't create a broken perk with no downsides for survivors. If you won't use it, it's fine but think about how powerful Iron will is in the high level play and now imagine survivors leave NO TRACE whatsoever in the match. That would be broken.
On the other perk, it should apply to all survivors and it still wouldn't be very good perk.

By being onehit all game. GG.
2 -
Im sorry but is everyone forgetting scratch marks exist? Just because blood isnt used to track (Which I dont see killers rely on it unless they're Wraith) doesn't mean suddenly survivors are invisible.
2 -
Phew I can't imagine killers losing to a neon stealth Nea. not saying you're bad just that killers are lol
0 -
trash perks, as always.
2 -
How would you suggest fixin em?
0 -
Stealth isn't the strongest. But Lucky Break is a good addition to them.
0 -
Blood Echo should apply exhaustion to all survivors, not only injured ones.
Lucky Break has the problem of being pretty much useless when not running with Iron Will, so I would have it also silence your grunts of pain for the duration of the perk.
0 -
Lucky break sounds awesome with iron will
0 -
Can't wait so play the same perks for the rest of my days!
1 -
Lucky Break should work for 60 seconds after every time you are injured. That way it's helpful when trying to evade the killer (especially with other stealth perks) but you can't just stay injured forever without tracking.
Maybe Blood Echo should have longer exhaustion values for those injured and shorter for those healthy (90 injured, 45 healthy). That way it encourages healing and is a legitimate punishment for staying injured. A good enough killer will keep injured survivors exhausted for most of the match.
0 -
Also to say having no blood pools for a match in exchange of a perk slot is insanely OP is absurd. It would be fairly strong but still only worth carrying in stealth specific builds. And stealth builds generally sacrifice things like DS, Adrenaline, BT.. aka meta perks.
2 -
Lucky Break doesnt need a timer, stealth perks arent strong enough to deserve restrictions. Same for Fixated and its injured requirement.
3 -
They exist and mislead often.
You can juke a killer to escape or gain some distance. In that situations they follow the blood which is the only thing remaining after you stop running.
0 -
Reduced groans is literally useless. If you make ANY groan, a killer is going to hear you unless you're within 3 feet of a 90% complete gen. That's why iron will ranks 1 & 2 are unusable
0 -
I know Blood Echo is rather meh, but implying that Zanshin Tactics is better than it... At least Blood Echo has somewhat of a use.
2 -
I'm prepared to beg for the rest of DBD's existence for Lucky Break to be infinite. I've always wanted IW perk version for blood. I hope devs realise that not leaving blood behind isn't as OP as they might think and it would be completely fine to buff it.
4 -
Thats the challenge, it feels soo good when I am able to stealth with this neon clothing
0 -
I would reduce lucky break to about 30 seconds and then when your healed it resets. Combined with iron will and urban evasion would be solid for stealth builds
0 -
I use the same build for stealth except I replaced urban for Spine Chill.
0 -
I think Lucky Break is a good perk but it needs a little something extra to be better. As it is right now it doesn't provide much of an effect, and the fact that it can be cancelled out completely after 3 minutes of being injured is just icing on the ######### cake.
I honestly think it would do well if it was merged with other perks, notably Lightweight. If Lucky Charm came with Lightweight's scratch mark hiding effect it would be a consistently useful stealth perk. But there are a lot of perks that I honestly think need to be merged (Quick and Quiet + Dance With Me [+ Windows of Opportunity, which relies too much on these perks], Breakdown + Babysitter, We're Gonna Live Forever + No One Left Behind + We'll Make It, etc.)

No mithrr

Yee boiiii

I think Lucky Break was designed to counter Oni since he collects blood; but I don't know if it works that way
0 -
Even removing the cooldown from Blood Echos it still wouldn't be that good and no one would run it.
Along with removing the cooldown they need to dump the useless Hemorrhage debuff and it give it something more useful. Hell even Blindness would be better.
I think this also kind of points out how bad Hemorrhage is currently and as a status effect it really needs improvements for it to be a status effect anyone cared about.
I'm not as sure on Lucky Break but I'd lean towards just making it infinite and not have that restriction it does.
0 -
I think Dance With Me, Lithe, Lucky Break and Iron Will would be a FANTASTIC combination during chases. If you can break line of sight, being discovered by the killer will be very difficult.
1 -
Are people forgetting how useful Blood Echos would be on Plague or Legion?
0 -
No it sadly doesn't its why he counters No Mither...as if it needed a counter
0 -
I would replace Iron will with quick and quiet since if he sees which window you take he can take a very good estimate of where you went.
0 -
Yeah but they're very...meh killers and Plague doesn't need tracking on injured survivors since they vomit and emit green mist
0 -
But it also gives the exhaustion status effect. Which means Plague won’t have a hard time downing survivors since they are easy to find due to being sick and exhausted (specifically talking about Dead Hard). Dead Hard basically gives you a third health state if you are good at using it.
You’re basically a sitting duck since the meta against Plague is not to cleanse.
Plus Plague is far from a “meh” killer. She is FAR above Legion.

To me those perks are good how they are, but the devs also think about the perks they can be combined with that's one thing they look at to buff or nerf perks.
Example
Blood echo: would be so powerful when paired with thanataphobia, dying light, and/or claurophobia. There's extremely slow healing plus before they can fully heal you should have someone on hook with blood echo activated
Lucky break is also really good, 3 minutes no blood combine that with light weight and iron will you will be extremely hard to track.
In my opinion the only perk that needs a rework or buff is the survivors perk that lets you lift a pallet back up, its gonna be useless against smart killers and killers who break pallets right away.
I think the perk should either reinforce pallets making it so pallets stun like 1/2/3 seconds longer and takes 1/2/3 seconds longer to break (can play around with numbers and all). Obviously to reinforce you would to do a action on it that takes around the same time to heal. Or the perk should allow you to fix broken pallets, but you can only fix broken pallets once per pallet.

Also forgot to say blood echo is also really good with Insta down killers like Myers, ghostface, amd hillbilly because usually people won't heal against Insta down and killers such as plague and legion who slows action or can injure everyone fast
