My gameplay is consistently laggy. Any way to fix that? Note: My internet is actually good*

Whenever I play in a survivor match on dbd, I'm constantly getting sling shot around the map and this causes me to go to places I don't want to go to which, in return, cause me to get downed and then sacrificed on the hook. I'm a real experience player with a lot of skill on how to play the game and how to run the killer around very good. Before "dedicated servers," I never had this issue even when connected to 150-250 ping lobbies. But now that "dedicated servers" have been released, my ping says it's "50" but whenever I play the game, it's obvious its not 50 ping. It's more around 650 by my estimates based on past games before dedicated servers with high ping. With this extremely bad connection, Dead by Daylight isn't fun since I cant enjoy it like I used to. I've tried everything to fix this issue but nothing is working out. And before anyone goes, "your internet is probably bad," just know that my internet is certainly not an issue. It's is really good and I've been using it for a long time. Even before "dedicated servers" were released, my connection was near perfect to all lobbies.

So, if anyone has any suggestions or ideas on how to possibly fix this issue, please let me know. I'd really like to get going and play dbd again sometime but with all this lag, it just isn't something I want to do right now.

Your issue is most likely your connection with BHVRs new Dedicated Servers. You could be too far from the servers themselves, that's most likely why you keep being set back to previous locations in-game and lagging on the spot.

While nobody here can really give you a 100% fix on your issue, since it could be what I said above or many different issues due to your computers specs or whatever.

Basically, too many factors play into this... so it could be your connection to the Dedicated Servers or your computer as whole...

What i'll suggest you do is try submitting a ticket to the DBD support team. There, they'll be able to give you a more "1 on 1" session and help you with your issue in a more "intimate" manner.

    Here's the support link: https://support.deadbydaylight.com/hc/en-us

Please do submit a ticket with details on your issue and past playing the game. This will give them an idea of what went wrong and when it went wrong. Don't expect a reply immediately, this stuff takes stuff of course.

    Good luck!
