Any chance for a off-line practice mode?

I'm not asking for single player, but some kind of bots running around would be nice, so we have a chance to actually test and learn new killers and survs, understanding their perks and add-ons before being thrown to the wolves. Every game has some form of practice mode except this. This would be game breaking for new players and old players wanting to test out new things, that they can't do in red or purple ranks because they would get destroyed

I would definitely appreciate it for some of the harder killers to master like Oni and Huntress. Trying to learn killers like these at red ranks when survivors already know what to do and getting utterly stomped isn't fun at all.

I think there's no chance, but that would be awesome and maybe could stop people testing things and being useless

100% agree. That's why I suck w demo, spirit, nurse, and now oni. There's no time to actually learn them unless you like getting pulverized, and even then your not learning, your just raging trying to get hooks and keep up.

    Yes, in 2022. /s

They haven't been able to implement a sandbox mode since 2016, imagine AI mode. They'll just say that the tutorials are all that's needed. And that they think they did a pretty good job so far.

The game does have tutorials, but I understand what you mean. Bots would be cool to have, but I also feel like they would be a huge amount of work that could be better spent on improving the health of the main game.

At the very least, what I would really like is to be able to enter a custom game on your own as either survivor or killer. Hopefully something like this wouldn't be too much work to implement, and it would at least allow people to explore maps, learn tiles, and experiment to some extent with builds or killer powers.

I guess it would be nice but it's not needed at all and would just make them waste development time on that rather than more important issues. Rank doesn't do or mean anything so I don't see why you can't just practice online. Yea you will probably not do that good at first but that's to be expected. Even if you got to practice against bots before hand that really wouldn't give you that much experience.

Because on-line your getting gen rushed and don't have time to do anything else. The survs are running their best perks, and want to make the match as sweaty and stressful as possible. And practicing against bots would greatly improve your chances. Yeah, there not as good as players are, but you at least learn the basic mechanics of the killer and how to properly use them. Kinda the Same w f13 but a lot less to learn. The bots are ######### in that game, but it still teaches you what to do, and how to play better, vs just going live w no practice period.
