This is something I think people should be made aware of that they do... the cycle:

Survivor’s strongest go to perks are arguably BT and DS...

I see more requests to change DS than BT... but people don’t realise the impact of this...

We’ve all seen: SWF>Killer>Solo statements go around.

DS can be used by solos much to their needs for a perk than BT... BT requires more coordination to get full use.

People generally agree that SWF needs a nerf and solos need a buff.

Everyone knows or should know that the devs balance killers kill-rate around 4 man SWF groups and no one else.

So when people say: Nerf DS (rather than BT), what follows is: solo survivor’s get far weaker, SWF is slightly touched compared (since they don’t even need perks to begin with), killer’s get stronger but SWF stay ontop and killer’s say they want to be stronger against full gen-rush type 4 man SWF... well they can’t... because not every 4-man will try hard as much as others... so in a sense killers are being damned. Again... the strongest survivors will not be perk dependant but rather try to gen-rush and the killer will need to try to scrap momentum which BT can take away.

BT can still function as an anti-camping perk without being as strong as it currently is especially when used by groups.

Solos are weak because perks they can use get picked on and anything SWF use the devs treat as sacred pretty much.

Unless what’s used by SWF gets addressed though, killers will always be too weak to them while being at a power level that can oppress solos if they don’t want to play gen simulator.

BT’s okay if you’re solo but it’s more of a “securing emblem” perk.
