The second iteration of 2v8 is now LIVE - find out more information here: https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/kb/articles/480-2v8-developer-update

Suggestion to roll back the patch until it's fixed.

Why hello there.

Now don't get me wrong, the title may sound a bit brutal yet it should be something the devs should have already done.

The update is beyond broken, for both sides.

Survivors on the ground not making noises. Survivors in front of a locker can not be picked up. The new map has so many issues. Half of the games I play someone crashes. Almost all games where someone gets hooked in the basment is game over. Medkit addons not working probably. No real response in game from the Devs about any gamebreaking mechanics. Nothing to work with. Silence in game.

No announcement about anything. Nothing. Have they announced something on the forums? Doesn't really matter, so many people don't even care about the forum. If it's not on the in game news it's completely irrelevant.

Since the update dropped I did not face so many bugs over and over again with any other update. People hook in the basment on purpose because why not the take the easy win right? As well as Survivors crawl in front of lockers and so on and so forth.

This update has been a horrible mistake in this state. Devs, if any of you are reading this, or even a community manager, please at least give out a warning in game. I know you guys are most of the times not the fastest when it comes to hotfixes but for the love of god, at least say something about it in an ingame announcement. Go in depth about the gamebreaking bugs and WARN people from using any of these.

I know not using the basement seems kinda stupid, many people come with the argument that it is "the strongest structure" killers have but please, just P L E A S E can we be a community for once and NOT a pile of garbage people hissing at each other ruining each others experience?

Thanks for reading. If you didn't read it, well cool for you.
