Mori Question
Asking this as someone that plays survivor. The last 2 days I have been in 3 (4?) different matches where the killer used Mori to take out all 4 survivors. Assuming this is one of the rift challenges.
Every time it has happened it seemed to be a very efficient way for the killer to 4k very quickly. So my question is why don't I see this a lot more often when it seems to be so effective? Don't get me wrong. As a survivor the game wouldn't be worth playing if every game was that fast and easy for killers, but I would still think I would see a lot more often than I do considering how efficient and easy it seemed to be.
***If Mori is the wrong term someone please correct me. I am talking about where the killer kills without hooking.***

few reasons:
- Moris are one time offerings so some people hoard them.
- Using an Ebony as efficiently as possible results in less rewards pointwise and rankwise than playing normally.
- People love to DC if they think/know there’s a Mori so there’s a risk even bringing one in.

Thanks. I don't play killer so I figured there had to be some kind of reason. In other words killers don't have unlimited use of Mori. They have to be obtained in the bloodweb, plus it just doesn't yield the points and rank. Makes sense.

Yep. I’ll add there’s a couple perks that grant access to Moris as well, but they’re all conditional (hex isn’t destroyed and you’ve let 5 hook saves happen, can only kill the obsession after all gens are done)

So you're asking why you don't see moris every game? I guess there are a few factors.
1) People don't have a lot of mori offerings so they only use them for specific survivor teams (SWF with 4 toolboxes for example)
2) People want to rank up and play proper matches (mori games mostly result in a safety pip and little bloodpoints)
3) People are afraid of losing despite using a mori offering as it's kind of embarrassing to lose despite using the strongest offering in the game (ebony mori)
Not sure if I forgot another factor. Personally I only use them a few times per year if I want to see the mori animation. I don't even get them if they pop up in my bloodwebs.
