So okay, today i was playing a game, i was cleansing a totem (NO ONE WAS NEAR ME) just as i was about to finish it, an injured nancy runs at me, points at me AFTER i just cleansed the totem, i didn't have a clue what she was pointing at, at first. I made the assumption it was the gen right behind me, I get an abusive message of this survivor, calling me this and that, saying I knew she needed the totem. I was like I am not telepathic, how did I know she needed it? then calling me lots of names etc, saying because she was a Nancy I should know she would be running the perk were you cleanse a totem and then go in a locker! I mean, just because David has dead hard do I expect everyone to run it? there is sooo many perks, I just wanted to know if anyone else is meant to be telepathic and know what other peoples perks are.

Have read this on the Forum before that players with Inner Strength sometimes think that all the Totems belong to them.

But yeah, this is the risk of running Inner Strength. Nobody should expect that he will be able to cleanse a Totem.

Would just ignore it, this is entitlement at its best.

thats the problem really survivors cant tell what other survivors are running to help them. I use empathy and sometimes i go to the injured person to heal them and theyre running self care like "my healing ######### you" im like fine i guess you got it. Or i go to flashlight save someone or body block the killer and the person he just picked up had ds so now im like "######### RUN" Id love to be able to know what other survivors are running stuff but i know thatd probably be to overpowered (Even though swf already does this they say what perks they have and what perks work well together and coordinate)

Well, that's why you go and cleanse a Totem first.

By the time you need one, you might be too late already.

I know right? Like she was going nuts, I apparantly was the random of the group, she is bad mouthing me, I still save and heal her, and her SWF friends, then when she dies she is like, don't die, these are my friends. You are useless, eh...I was not even hooked the entire match and escaped, then she was bad mouthing me and the killer, talk about salt lol

I'm sorry, I just pictured an angry Nancy finger cussing you out and laughed. But no, really inner strength should be enough for her to want to rush cleansing totems, she can't get upset that other people want to play it safe to avoid NOED.

I'm glad you got the totem and not her.

I get so many survivors going crazy because I won’t let them heal me past 99% not aware that Resilience is a perk... the solution to all these problems is letting survivors know what perks their teammates are running.

I have encountered a few players who have reacted poorly to me doing totems because they had Inner Strength. One bodyblocked me until the Killer came by, and only moved to Dead Hard out of the way of the Killer, leaving me to get hit. And another refused to unhook me and just teabagged me.

The crazy thing is is that I was ALSO running Inner Strength. For me though, if people are doing totems I am happy.
