I'm not really for the custom avatars. People will just upload offensive stuff with hidden agendas. This place is very different from steam, and I love that.

No, we made the decision to go against Custom Avatar's and keep them as the DbD icons. It makes things easier for us to moderate - so we don't need to moderate avatars as well, it also keeps things looking a bit more uniform.

No @Bullettimegod obviously not. Mods are allowed to have their own custom avatars as they are in a position of trust, but us having to moderate everyone's avatar would be next to impossible.

I agree and disagree. There is many forums that incorporate personal pics. They moderate it just fine, how ever im sure they may have a bigger staff.

You can make custom avatars sent to premoderation. So it wouldn't be as hard to moderate. And users wouldn't spam with avatar changing every day and every hour. Or if they will spam, you can just temporary block avatar upload for this users.
