This game sometimes seems like a pre-alpha
Sounds are so bugged, wraith's lunge bug, billy phantom chainsaw hit bug, new map is as dark as my underarm, freddy and huntress hitboxes, laggy servers, genrush is real, eating a DS after you hooked another survivor, totems being placed 2 meters away from a generator, 90% of perks not being viable at red ranks, 10 minute queue-time for survivors, insane toxicity in the end game chat that doesn't get punished, DC to give hatch, last second switch, moris and keys... And so on.
I personally really like this game, that's why I have 1600 hours on it. I want it to improve and to become better and funnier. But seeing how many bad things this game still has frustrates me.
DbD needs a serious focus on the game's health aspect.
I want to know what you guys think..

This whole game needs a rework.

"Sometimes" ?
It always feels like a pre alpha

Because this was a tiny halloween game that blew up. The devs can barely manage this game.

They keep improving it. I love their work they invested.

From the technical standpoint, the game is still in an alpha state. For the map sizes and graphics it offers, its way way too ressource-demanding. Also the game files somehow grew to incredible 30GB.
I am no programmer, but I know several indie games with 10 times more content, and better graphics, that run better and take up less space.

I have around the same playtime, and I feel the same way. Since around Legion's release, I've been hoping new chapters would be delayed so we could have nothing but game health improvements for at least a few months.
Alas, here we are a year later and most of the same core problems remain. It's because so much time is spent designing and balancing new content that the old content is left in the dust until they finally find time to fix it.
The game has enough killers and survivors as is right now. Gameplay balancing and bugfixing should be the priorities. But that doesn't rake in the cash like a new DLC, so we just have to accept the table scraps we're fed.

Wasn't game health on the Road Map? Like... it really doesn't seem like they've focused on that at all. They're more focused on DLC and Cosmetics to get their money. Not bugs, not balance, not anything else.
-Now, I know the cosmetics team has nothing to do with the actual coding but if they've got the art design skills and what not, move some of them over to help with map design, fix the cosmetics we already have (like all the hair), fix the character models, etc. They have those skills, make them useful.
-Anytime they try to work on balance they completely screw up. Even though I think the Nurse is fine still, most of the community hates her and think she's "unplayable" so clearly their idea of balance for most of the community was horrible. Then you get the new DLC killers who are more op than they should be and when they finally get nerfed, people want a refund for buying the DLC (like Legion currently).
-Most of their bugs have been around for months or even years, they act like it's hard to fix these bugs and I'm sure some are hard but when you've had SO LONG to try to fix these things, there is no excuse. Most bugs get bandaid fixed and eventually, that bandaid falls off (even if the same bug doesn't come back, another one does in its place). The coding is spaghet, they should organize it so when they fix something, something else doesn't get screwed over because of it. I've never seen any progress on bug problems. Most other games can tackle their bugs so easily, so what is BHVR's excuse?
