RUIN IS TERRIBLE FOR THIS GAME COMMUNITY

Now listen, I understand your reasons for running Hex:Ruin but I believe it's very poor perk to counter fast-paced games or people called "gen rushing". I'm a killer main but I hate running it when all I want is too slow the game at least for an extra 30 seconds. To the community, imagine a day in DBD survivors just wanting to enjoy the game and sickly tired of searching for ruin because you're either force to get "good' at skill checks or suffer the penalty, especially for players who are new the game. Killers imagine a day not being force to run ruin and you ACTUALLY can run a fourth perk for fun combos.I understand it's survivors job to put pressure on killers as well but lets be realistic gens can be completed too fast for the majority of killers to compete and on the plus side ruin is already not a consistent perk for killers even to rely on, the only thing consistent about is that it last you at least 15 extra seconds. Devs please find anything other than ruin to replace for an extra objective that is at least fun for newer players and majority of the community, just enough to slow the game an extra 60 seconds. It would greatly buff the low tier killers and I think if you did new objectives, ruin should be nerf so it wouldn't make it worse. Before I end, I just want to give a big hug to anyone who doesn't run ruin especially on the weaker killers and yes I'm looking at you OTZ! Anyways devs please do something to keep your newer players to having an awesome experience, generators are already boring enough so please don't add time to them either.

I don’t find ruin unfun to versus tbh, I’d prefer to run CI anyway.

i always hit greats. after being in high ranks for so long, i just got used to the great skill checks, so ruin doesn’t/ never affects me or any of my SWF. we usually have 5 gens done in 8-10 mins. easy money.

honestly, killers who run it in high ranks just waste a perk slot on it.

Every killer I go against runs Ruin. Then when I still manage to loop them for 2 gens they say I'm abusing good tiles when in reality I'm just stringing jungle gyms into pallet loops into jungle gyms like survivors are supposed to do. Ruin is unhealthy because killers use it as a crutch, some going to great lengths to keep it up all game, instead of improving or learning. That's not to say I haven't faced the dreaded skilled killer running Ruin, I have and it is honestly very bland. They can pressure generators effectively and we struggle to do gens when not pressured. Please tell me how Ruin is good for this game. As killer I never bothered to get Ruin or level up the Hag because I care for neither (The Hag is very bland imo, trap mechanic encourages camping and tunneling, Hex perks are very RNG dependent, the survivors crouch around the map). Instead of Ruin, I use the perk slot for Sloppy or Nurses because I am quite sweaty. I also use Whispers to help me manage my time more effectively. Ruin neither helps me maintain pressure on survivors or help me manage my time more effectively. It just hampers the rate at which I improve and makes the game slow and boring. If you disagree, please tell me!
