So this issue is still there. The transition from normal mode to nightmare mode for a survivor is filled with fps losses. It takes some 20-25 secs to render the full nightmare mode along with its blurry-ness around the edges of objects. Till such time the fps drops are moderate to massive. You can miss skill checks easily with this issue. This needs fixing and I had already raised this as an incident with support, but it seems it still needs fixing.
