So about Last Year...
This might be one of the worst games, at least of this kind, I have ever played.
It's one of the clunkiest most unintuitive messes I've seen in a while.
-Very low player base, no actual skill matchmaking it's just random, and with so little people it's all they can do anyways.
-It takes between 15 - 60 minutes to find a match currently, this makes DBD queue times look speedy.
-Playing killer is a disorienting mess of spawning and de-spawning just trying to find the survivors
-The killer isn't just slow, they are like molasses and have the most unrewarding, boring and just lame abilities that control like ass.
-You can't tell when you can even kill someone everything is so janky or what you can interact with because it's flickering between go ahead and no you can't.
-There is no way to really track the survivors, it's just mashing the key to teleport roughly near them and it's always way off, and then slowly trying to find a place to spawn.
-The survivors often will just swarm the killer with ZERO fear and beat him to deah in seconds, with little concern.
-There are only 4 killers in the entire game, all somehow have less depth than even a DBD killer.
-The devs are shady, they abandoned the game before and probably will again. They took so much money in support that somehow never made it to the game which is fishy as ****.
Like I could go on but you get the idea, I see nothing redeeming about this game, and I bet it will be dead in a couple of months, hell it's almost dead now.

The game just released and people are already dragging it to the ground, jesus.
-The concept behind feels way better than what we've got in DbD, offers a lot more of variety, and requires teamwork from the survivors.
-I don't see how killer is disorienting to you when the survivors are highlighted within a radius, it feels like you're not even trying to play the killer if you think of this as an issue.
-You can tell when you can kill someone because they're totally in the ground, I don't see the issue here again.
-The spawning is fairly easy as you only have to get out of sight and you are still able to be like right next to them.
-If you are getting swarmed by daring survivors, change your strategies, don't go face to face against a full group since that is more on you being careless, you've got a plentiful of options to deal with them.
-4 killers in the game who've got different ambush spots, several different stats and gameplay styles, instead of just a random power and M1...
-The devs were abandoned by discord, if they had the intention to take your money and run off, this relaunch wouldn't have happened.
It's really tiring when all I see is negativity around a great concept which needs time, nobody wants to talk about the many problems DbD has, I only see the same ones over and over again out of a pile, so stop calling Last Year a dead game and at least give it a chance.

Because there was obviously no tohught or care but into this abysmal wreck of a game, I just uninstalled it a moment ago I have zero hope for this game at this point.
-The IDEA is better sure, but you know who can come up with a great idea? Everyone. Ideas are not gold, people have tons of ideas all day every day that are just as good if not better, that doesn't make a good game, so much more is required beyond that.
-Killer is disorienting as all hell, I don't know how you can't see that. I've played killer as many times as I possibly could....twice....in the span of several hours because I had to leave the matchmaking going for an hour almost each time to find a match. I played a lot more back on discord- and it was so much worse then, at least now it doesn't crash and you can queue as killer or survivor, it only took a year for them to add that one basic thing.
-Again are you serious, you can't see ANYTHING because there is nothing TO see most of the time, no aura no name tag nothing it's just guessing.
-It's not the fact they can do that, it's the fact that there is ZERO threat of the killer in a lot of instances, they turn him into a joke.
-It doesn't matter how well you play anyways because the killer controls so poor, worse than ALMOST ANY GAME I'VE EVER PLAYED. It's indescribably bad.
-The devs abandoned their game long before discord did, there is no excuse for their behavior.
It's just an awful game; that will likely fade away and be forgotten- regardless of your denial of it's obvious faults. I don't even have to argue; I can just....wait to get my point across.

Just because you don't like the game, it doesn't mean it's "an abysmal wreck", DbD had some seriously dark times and it's still there.
-That wasn't my point but whatever, there's not enough competition for DbD AND there's not gonna be much more anytime soon, the game is good, it just feels like some people want everything perfect out of the first impression, the quality of the game is undeniable and it only requires time to polish and tweak.
-We must be playing very different games, there's no way to get lost with all the info the game gives you and plus now you've got extra AI mobs which stall the survivor's time for free, the matchmaking is something they're looking into right now.
-Again, the killer has a LOT of power in this game, you're turning the negativity out of nowhere, a lot of killers I've seen can just handle everything with a clear strategy and they don't die or struggle that much at all.
-I don't know how many games you've played but I disagree a lot about the controls.
-You're just following a herd of people who want to blame the devs for everything and completely forget the "Discord" part, I stand by the fact that they're still trying even when there's so much toxicity around.
And no, I'm not denying any obvious faults, I'm denying your points because they don't feel like proper ones, it feels like somebody who's trying to make a mess out of nothing, nobody I've seen is having the same troubles as you are.

I really want to try out Last Year. Last Year's Devs seem really focused and dedicated to their game. I'll give them a second chance.
