I am tired of ending up in lobbies with low rank survivors who are being total potatoes against high rank killers. I just had a match where this one Yui could not seem to stay off the hook for more than a minute. And forget about looping the killer. Shortest chases ever. Hit one second, down 3 seconds later. I find out at the end of the match that this player is rank 18.

I am all for high rank players having the right to bring their baby rank friends in their swf's. That's their choice. But other players should also have the choice to opt out of a lobby if they don't want to play with baby survivors.

That can be so annoying as it feels like you may as well just have a DC team mate. But I thought it was supposed to be the lowest rank would match with their own rank? Or is there still just problems?

I actually had a friend who randomly decided to join my game out of the blue having played very little, ages ago. So big time noob. I thought of myself as a patient person but my god is there a huge skill difference with new/casual players.

You take for granted that your team has your back and knows what to do. For example, he left me to fend for myself in the basement after unhooking me and hiding in a closet with the killer on the stairs, had to explain bodyblocking to him. I feel bad but I almost don't want to play with him as after he joined, all my matches were terrible. I was doing so well up until that point and it's hard to teach as we don't use mic.

To be fair this game is not kind to new players, I still learn new things about the game having played it for over a year.

It would be nice if they had a casual mode for random matches with any rank and then the normal ranked matches. It could cause problems with dividing the community and match making times though. Hopefully they sort out the match making again so it's more strict, I've been lucky with match making as of late.

No it matches with the highest rank in the lobby. So if the highest rank in the swf is rank 1 then that's the killer rank it aims for matching with.
