a dev said it was never intended ! i hate this "killers only get nerfed" boo boo blind mentality ! it's like all killer's are crap if they don't have a 80% kill rate. it's embarrassing. why don't you be proud of being good at a "bad" killer rather than just whine so every killer is so easy that you can play with your toes and eyes closed. git gud.

They nerfed bloody glove. An addon i didn't used anyway. It's more fair now and doesn't just give you free aura read on all survivors after a while. And they fixed the turning exploit, i didn't abused too.
Where's the problem? And why's nobody talking about the completely braindead freddy nerf?

Imagine being a Samurai who's trained years mastered the Art, killed plenty of other skillful samurai and their Grandmaster only not to be able to control a club and react accordingly to a moving target. LUL

How does that make sense or is good at all? I've just played a couple rounds with him and there is virtually no flick for me there, unless you consider that instant 180° thanos snap like an owl turning its head "the flick".. please Devs, don't do this to us.

If you can still move the mouse and rotate 90 degrees at the end of a dash, Oni should still be okay. Remapping keys is ridiculous and was never meant to exist.

I hate playing against the same Spirit, Freddy, Billy, Myers, Ghostface, Oni, Trapper, Wraith, Legion, Leatherface, Plague and Pig over and over again. Rank 1 ps4 is the same 12 killers constantly :(

Yeah I only use mouse and this is completely untrue. I can barely turn anywhere. Never used a keyboard to turn a single time with him.
You also said you weren't ever intending the flick to be a thing which isn't true because you nerfed the flick from PTB to Live, and if wasn't intended you would have just removed it entirely from PTB to Live.
There is no reason to play him over Billy now. Kinda completely ruined him.

I have never seen a group of people so upset of a change. Relax guys, Oni is still perfectly viable, the flick wasn't even intended. Now you can play the killer how he was actually meant to be played.

Basically curving Oni in short. By using the left analog stick you would control his movement and with the right analog stock you could move the camera for further movement turning. You could do some sick stuff like that with a bit of practice. I noticed it when I went for my Adept didn't think it was a big issue tho. Was actually really useful if you tried it out though.

the mouse "flick" is also gone now, we can only go 10 degree with it. that must be a bug then if you say 90 is no problem. pls note that and fix it.

My rule of thumb is this: if Scott Jund can still dominate with Oni after this "nerf", then he's fine. The Q and E ######### had to go but the simple turning at the end of a dash is necessary to Oni.

scott is ok at killer but i wouldnt take him as example. however even he said in a post that he mouse flick is gone. you can look it up.

Well we don't have that turning even with mouse anymore. I've played him with the changes. I can barely counter any loops at all now. He's not terrible or anything, but there's no reason I'd ever use him over Billy anymore.

Keep in mind - they said it wasn't intended in the live patch notes...and before saying "they would have done this" etc...remember, this is the company that released a live build with the game breaking basement hook bug. I would never put any amount of faith into what they "would" or "could" do before going live with a patch/DLC.

That Oni flick nerf was way over the top, fixing the keyboard+mouse flick was needed, but now you can barely turn during the lunge of your Demon Dash anymore (it's like 30° max now instead of the 90° you mentioned previously). I hope this is a bug and gets fixed soon, and if it's not you really should revert the changes.
And the intensity of the Renjiro's Bloody Glove nerf was too high, it actually makes him worse now instead of better when you use them because the Survivors can deny you your Power.

You know, keyboard turning and mouse turning are on the same control, right? Q and E (or A and D) turning is literally just digital button press versions of what you're doing with the mouse. They are mapped in-engine to the same exact action. So yes, it means it wasn't intended. Don't be ignorant.

No he's not. The quick turning at the end helped him counter loops a little bit. Now he's no longer viable. Another killer ruined.

Y’all are forgetting one thing killers still have a vacuum affect to the hook survivors don’t have that going through pallets anymore yeah it’s a exploit but killers can be 10 ft from the hook and get the option to hook u they latterly slide to the hook it’s more annoying when you wiggle bar is 97 or 98 percent then 5 ft from the hook the killer magically slides to the hook care about issues not the fact you can’t get gud

They said the keyboard flicking was not intended, friend. If flicking in its entirety wasn't allowed, @Janick wouldn't have said what he said. I'm not trying to start anything but if you're going to die on a hill, make sure you're dying on one that is actually factual. The mouse turning is supposed to exist. As of now, it is bugged until otherwise confirmed.

The keyboard and mouse flicks are tied to the same engine control. They both perform the same action. They are one and the same.

Then why could they be doubled up pre patch? Janick said you're supposed to flick with the mouse and as of right now it isn't working as such. There's no evidence they're tied to the same engine control.

Why are people bitching about everything. I been playing DBD for a long time and i don't really ######### about how they fix things in the game. That is the only things i see in these forms about how the devs fixed a park or killer and 90% of people just ######### and crying how they "nerfed" it in the game.

That is far from truth. I played as Oni quite a lot recently, without using camera turning options, with just mouse. And now after the update, any turning hits are impossible to apply. while dashing. I agree and would've been totally fine with only Q,E angle changes, but this seems overkill. With mouse you are completely useless when survivor turns around.
Should we just hope survivors we are facing would be inexperienced and only to run in straight line?

I'm praying its a bug. Oni is super fun to play and watching you play him is the most entertaining DBD gameplay I've seen since launch.
