Demogorgon and GhostFace's UR add-ons
Need some tinkering, most importantly GhostFace's Outdoor Security Camera add-on
GhostFace
All the other camera add-ons do something with stalking while not peeking from cover, but why is this considered UR material?
This add-on LITERALLY requires the killer to be running certain perks to be useful
Why is it like that? "GhostFace caught on tape" does so much more and you don't need certain perks to get it working
Literally every ghostface tries to lean when stalking, so why is this add-on so much different than outdoor security camera?
Why not make outdoor security camera the reverse of GhostFace caught on tape?
Tremendously reduces stalk time when not leaning from cover, but tremendously increases stalk time when leaning from cover, make it like the other camera add-ons
Demogorgon
In my opinion, almost none of demogorgon's add-ons are good, and his UR add-ons are not the best either
So this add-on is supposed to reveal survivors who are injured inside of the upside down, this one isn't that bad actually for what it is, but if one of them is healing and far from the portal you are going to its not gonna be too useful besides some spooks, but this one is okay
Why is this not something related to shred?
In fact, why does demogorgon barely have any add-ons relating to shred?
We could have had Red Moss moderately decrease the recovery of missing with shred along with these 2, I would run it more because it does something

I agree for the most part, but mew's guts, deer lung and rat's liver at all half decent demogorgon addons, probably his best tbh. Though that is because all the rarer add ons all suddenly become just about trash upside down related stuff after that or things to do with oblivious effect which doesn't work that well on him anyways.
Gotta love moving at 101% speed when charging of the abyss lol.

Funny thing is I only run Mew's Guts and Black Heart on Demo as when I do use the portals the undetectable literally means nothing when you hear a tank running at you

Why should they give us addons to boost shred? Demogorgon could get a better chase potential, so scary man.
Jks aside, there are many useless UR addons in the game. They need to rework most of them honestly.

Just to comment on this bit specifically, I'm pretty certain it's exactly the same reason that the Pig's addons revolve almost entirely around her traps, and not her Ambush. And that's because the RBTs and the Upside Down are the 'iconic' things about these licensed killers, even though in-game they are the less interesting mechanic from the killer's PoV.
As for the Ultra Rares it seems they're trying to make them more unique and gimmicky than super powerful like they used to be, just look at Oni's now.

Yeah his undetectable status doesn't do a whole lot of good, I literally have a huge pile of all his red addon because tbh they are not worth running. I have like 50 of the damn things lol.
Mew's Guts and Black Heart isn't bad, but Deer Lung is really strong since it makes you travel faster. A lot of the times for most builds when you need to get somewhere, you need to get there ASAP- and on top of that the green addon gets you there faster and gives you more time to get to the person than the red addon does with it's undetectable status- with none of the downsides of it.
I've run Lichen a few times, it's not totally useless but it's not great. You can't look around and it can be fooled by all the usual things too, so it's rare you will see anyone when transporting with the quick and shaky camera. I mean if you have deer lung it can be half decent since you can teleport more frequently and get more sorta radar scans going in one area; but even still it's really weak for a red add on- and worst of all it isn't that interesting.
I wish they would look at killers like Myers more often, on what fun add ons are like.

I avoid Ghostface caught on tape. I’m hoping there is some usefulness to it that I just haven’t seen yet but marking a survivor and tunneling them down is not really always the best play. Wish it had a secondary effect to make it more interesting. Even just longer marked time would go a loooong way.

I usually only teleport when I know someone is at that location
I only use shred add-ons cause I play console and suck at aiming

Y'know what would be sick? If Demo had a red addon that would let him crawl over obstacles in the game like he does in the show and such.
Just crawls on all fours over pallets, fences, the junk walls, things about that height.
The speed, and how frequently he could do it would obviously be limited for balance sake, but that would be a strong and interesting character addon, one that changes how the game plays a bit, that is the kind of stuff that interests me more.
Maybe my example doesn't appeal or is impossible; but you get the idea of what I mean. Things that are fun appeal to me more than anything.

Outdoor Security Camera should give its effect when downing any survivor while Night Shroud is active. This rewards you for sneaking up without getting revealed. Now it's actually decent.
Leprose Lichen just needs to allow Demo to move his camera and look around while traversing the upside down. Boom that easy, now it's decently good.
Red Moss just needs the negative on it removed and to make it also remove the global scream when he uses his portals. His footstomps are already loud enough to hear him coming around a corner even with Undetectable.
None of these changes would make the addons overpowered but now they would actually be decent and worth running. Currently most of them are all garbage.

Yeah this is one Add-On I never use since most times, when I attempt to lean stalk, I can never get them in my view, and if I move slightly, it knocks me out of leaning and the survivor sees me and runs, so stalking as they run is useless

I can't say much for Demo because I don't own it, but as far as I read the UR don't look that bad. Indeed, there's only two add-ons related to shred (one brown and one yellow), it maybe a dev choice to put the accent on the portal ability.
As for GF now :
- OUTDOOR SECURITY CAMERA
It is a good add-on imo, showing survivors so you know where to go next. It's consitent with Thrilling Tremors perk wich shows you where the other survivors may be when you pick-up one. The only bad side of this add-on is that it may encourage slugging.
Anyway I don't understand why it would require certain perks to be useful ?

It's the only add-on that helps stalking when leaning, it has nothing common with Outdoor security camera so I don't get your remarks.

Yeah I am the opposite Lol I've played a LOT of Demogorgon across all ranks even red; but I don't play ghostface that much, so it's hard for me to comment on him.

Ultra Rares are typically jokes. Very few actually do something that is worth the rarity. I find Very Rare and some Rare addons to be far superior.

I agree their UR add ons make no sense, their URs are very niche and situational and don't do much at all to change the way they play, Irony because GF's UC and VR add ons are pretty good, most of Demo's add ons are bad in general except for a few

I mean, I've been trying to get shred fixed so that you are allowed to lunge from elevation; or at least not have you bounce off people into a random direction ending a chase entirely- but no luck.
They seem to really wanna just forget about Demo for a while I think....

I'm pretty sure the devs either forgot about Shred or are terrified of good Demogorgon add-ons. We need more add-ons that affect Shred.
For right now, I was thinking we could add range and charge time increase modifiers to the add-ons Eleven’s Soda and Barb’s Glasses (the description of Eleven’s Soda involves a can charged with psychic energy, so I was thinking that the energy could allow him to jump farther when using his Shred) and charge time decrease modifiers to the add-ons Rotten Green Tripe and Deer Lung (considering they’re supposed to fuel and power up Demogorgon). I was also thinking about throwing on small charge time decrease or range increase effects to some of his common add-ons. I haven’t thought about the numbers yet. The charge time increase modifier on the range increase add-ons is mainly for balance reasons.
As for his other add-ons, most of them need number increases. His Very Rares and a couple of his Rares are pathetic. For his Ultra Rares, I was thinking about having one of them give a fully charged Shred the Exposed effect, but your idea sounds pretty good.
Demo also needs to be much quieter. Everyone on the map knows when he teleports or hits a Survivor and his footsteps are way too loud, making the Undetectable effect nearly useless.
