Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

Which atmosphere do you think was better at making you scared as a survivor?

Hey, I recently stumbled upon an old video of old Hag game-play and the dark, intimidating atmosphere (through lighting, fog, sounds, and depth of field) really stood out to me. The more I watched it, the more I felt like the atmosphere at that time was probably better for making me scared as survivor, a feeling I have sadly missed for a long time now. Overall, I think I prefer the atmosphere from this video but I just want to know what seems to be a better atmosphere according to the community.

I do not mind these effects as they do not change how scary the game is for me

Personally, I never really found this game scary after the first week of playing. I still get jumpscared by some killers though but that's about it, just my opinion though.
