Sole Survivor Questions
My style of play is stealth. It's what I find fun. Recently I have tried running sole survivor a few times to see if it helps later in the game as it becomes harder for the killer to see my aura. The things is nearly every time I run it I seem to immediately become the killers main objective and have gotten tunneled from the start of the game. Maybe it is just because it makes me the obsession most of the time. I don't know.
I knew most killers are going to tunnel you if you run object of obsession (which I'm not), but I hadn't heard that about sole survivor. Is there something about sole survivor that makes killers want to tunnel you? Can a killer even tell you are running it? Is it simply that I am the obsession from the start in most of these matches?

Killer cant tell it and it might be a coincidence that they are going for you. There is no reason to tunnel the Obsession, in fact, most Obsession Perks work better when NOT chasing the Obsession. So most likely coincidence.
It is not a good Perk tbh. Because it relies on your teammates being dead, which lowers the chance of escaping anyway.

It encourages saving yourself and leaving your team-mates to die, not the best situation for a game that requires team-work.

Hadn't really thought of it in the aspect of relying on teammates to die. While that wasn't my goal I can see what you're saying. Maybe skip that one. I will chalk it up to coincidence that I was getting tunneled

If you want to hide auras you are infinitely better off using Distortion from Jeff. Sure, it has limited uses, but the idea is that you use it to find what aura perks the killer is running and then use game sense to avoid aura reads for the rest of the trial.

There is a high chance I'd tunnel an extremely stealth player. Since in my games they don't do much except hiding, refuse help out or to spit pressure with their teammates, who are all on death hook, while that immersed person hasn't even been seen once and then dies to egc. So I'd rather get them out of my game, if they crouch around the map all game.

I can understand that completely. I wasn't meaning to imply immersed. I do generators. I heal teammates. I unhook. I'm just not good at looping and escaping. So when I say I'm playing stealth I just mean I am going to do those things without the killer seeing me if at all possible because if I get chased it's going to go badly for me.

I think you might just be unlucky right now Bc the killer tome challenge to kill the obsession 4 or 5 times
