Why does the menu music stops playing after playing survivor?
This doesn't happen after playing killer, only on survivor for some reason.

This sounds like a bug. You can report it in the Bug Reports section of the forums here: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/categories/bug-reports
Make sure to include information such as your platform, a description of what's happening, how often it happens to you and steps to reproduce it in as much detail as you can provide.

I'm fairly sure it doesn't happen to me. If it does, I haven't noticed it. Either way, I'm pretty confident it's not an intended feature.

It happens to me too. But I just restart game and it's fine then.

It sounds like a selective bug than a general bug.
Regardless, please do file a bug report so the dev team is aware... all the information is above, provided by Fibijean.

On a related note, I don't like it how the menu music stops once you get into a lobby.
I like the menu music alot, but it only plays when being in the, well, menu.

I miss the old main menu music personally... (The piano score).
But I believe it does this so you can cycle through the unique music that's linked between each Killer... except a few that don't have unique music like Trapper, Wraith, etc... Killers like Myers (at the start), Spirit, Clown, etc, have unique music that plays in the Killer menu because that's the music that their trailers came with... and it also came with their debut into the LIVE game in the main menu...
The same was for Legion when he was release, Plague, and GhostFace... the main menu reflected their unique themes until the next DLC dropped... than it was changed.

I am talking about how you won't have any music when being in a lobby.
I personally always let the original piano score play in the background on YT to circumvent that.

I wish they gave us an option to choose between them tbh. I really like the stranger things and the 2017 halloween music . I would probably use them most of the time.

Maybe one day my friend, hopefully we will get something like that! A sort of... main menu music selection in the options menu.
