Wow Matchmaking is truly broken

I got into matches so fast this morning, but who cares if they all suck. Every match I’ve played has been with players 4 or more levels lower than me (I’m 13 after reset). My last three were with all 20s! How can I be matched 3x in a row with people all 7 levels lower? Wow this game really is broken and I’ve never said that. My last match (similar to others) went like this: I ran killer around for at least 3 minutes from very start. No Ruin and not a single gen done when I was hooked. They were all crouched hiding behind an object. I died on 1st hook cause why I should stick around for that? I was curious to see how they’d do and 2 died fast and 1 escaped by hatch. And guess what? My score was higher than all including the killer and it was only 9111. I’m also dealing with survivors who won’t heal me, let me heal them, can’t make a regular skill check, afraid to save you even when killer is nowhere around, afraid to touch a gen. This game is NOT newbie friendly. They need better tutorials. Sorry if I sound rude. I’m not meaning to be. Just needed a place to rant. Thanks for listening.

    You answered it yourself: rank 20s get thrown into matches asap so they can 'enjoy' the game as you can't derank below 16 very quickly (at least I assume so even with the recent reset change) and after that I believe you can't even depip on purpose. This way they don't have to wait for 4 other players who happened to just start playing (or at least started playing the role they chose to play) and after a few matches of getting bashed in they find their ground hopefully.

    and thats how matchmaker is forcing you to play swf (even without voicecoms just to play with ppl you know you can rely on)

    Yeah this game is not newbie friendly. I feel bad for these players. I just had a match again with a 19 & 20s. One of them got tunneled to boot. I tried hard to get the killer to leave him alone and come after me, but to no avail. The killer was 19 so I’m sure he feels he has to tunnel to win. It’s bad all around.

    Yeah I don’t know how I’ve lasted this long in solo, but with matchmaking this bad I’m ready to find SWF or quit.
