just wish devs started working on a fix for this instead of letting swf groups dominate for 3 years.
Meanwhile,solo survivor experience is still frustrating most of the time.

Most SWFs don't, but they certainly have the ability to. It's super frustrating, but the devs are never going to do anything about it, nor do they seem to think OoO in a SWF is even a problem. All you can do is remember the names and not play against the SWFs whose only goal is to play the game on easy mode and make the experience miserable for killers. Just remember the most important thing is that they're having fun.

One could also argue that the balance of SWF is also a major cause of many of the game's problems and relative stagnation numbers-wise. Deleting it would be a bad move, sure, but having it isn't exactly causing explosive growth.

I bought this game expecting a horror game. I wanted to feel scared, immersed, confused and feel like the odds are against me. I can only get that feeling when I play solo and that's why I only play solo. I dislike SWF from both perspectives.
I really never felt or feel frustrated, maybe because I always get the experience I want. I don't know what other players expected, but I always thought playing against the killer was supposed to be harder than playing against survivors.

Why would I argue when you're 100% correct?
Just played with an obvious SWF "team" who literally didn;'t care at all about doing gens and just ran behind the killer while he was carrying me and unhooking me right in front of him twice in a row. Should I be depiped for that? IS THAT FAIR?!
We need an option to AVOID SWF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

People are allowed to play with their friends. SWF is not the problem, Solo Survivor is. Buff Solo's so that we can buff Killers.

SWF is the only reason this game is even popular at this point.
SWF gives you a fair chance, look at all the threads talking about SWF/Killer strength and there will always be a few people who go "When I play solo against XYZ I always get destroyed".
You may not like it but it's necessary, I'm also one of the few who actually enjoys playing against SWF because I really don't think they're that tough in all honesty.

I would argue SWF gives you WAY more than a fair chance, but that isn't here nor there. Buff Solo's to SWF level, buff Killers accordingly.

Ohhh yea i was thinking about doing that name list .cuz on ps4 i get swf almost every 2 matches. Its so frustrating and annoying i question life lol like this game is TOO easy as a killer sometimes. But with swf nope thats another topic.

Its cuz they want ez matches and wanna copy ppl like Noob3 or ochido. Swf ruin the game in many ways. But now i know its not me but them having no skills for being swf. I dont see why youd want to play in a toxic manner with friends. Just play to survive yes. But not letting at least one person sacrifice self..is a no in their book apparently. And yeah to me the point of this game as a survivor is to feel isolated and powerless.

Also no. SWF balances the game. It this game was solos only, the survivors would need major buffs to compete with killers

In a way, I love SWFs because they think that you are stupid as a Killer from the get go.
This is an example, and I just get a free down from them because of it. SWF have access to more information than Solo Survivors. But you can abuse this.
If you play Stealth Killers such as Wraith and GF against them, you can make them play more cautious than usual and sow seeds of doubt into each other's callouts. Bone Clapper and Coxcombed Clapper always keep survs guessing (as Wraith), and even the best SWFs will still fail to play around this the whole game as they won't see it coming.
SWFs are far more annoying to deal with than SoloQ Survivors, but they can easily be manipulated into poor decisions.

Maybe. That's another reason why I don't like playing with people who invite me to their discord channels; it feels like playing on the easiest difficulty setting.

True you have a point but i main legion now lol wraith helps me get bp . I just need to see if im going against swf before i dive in match. Legion isnt hard to play but sometimes they are . Just depends how i play and the team . But yeah its fine i just gotta be more careful too lol
Boneclapper is so fun to use and satisfying its crazy. Wraith is also my main but id probably use him if i get super deranked 🤣😂

I'll always love Legion. No matter how many times they get changed, and they are one of the best BP farmers in the game (along with Wraith and Doc).
I agree, it is always about the teams you get which unfortunately you don't get a feel for until a couple of minutes in the trial haha.
Wraith is fun, I really like him. One of the few killers that give the game its scare factor still. 😁

I had a troll group doing nothing but hook sabo, and locker stuns and not really playing the game. I assumed they were memeing so I let them farm me; and let them all get out too.
Then they started just trashing on me in chat calling me a fail try hard and everything else?
Like ######### this community and SWF especially. I am so ######### sick of you guys, you're just awful the way you treat people in this game who have done nothing but be kind to you. It's sickening.

Actually yes, almost every game in existence has a feature that allows you to play with your friends that is online. So almost every popular online game DOES have swf

Almost every other game balances around voice chat and groups as a norm. But not DBD. Hence why solo survivors and low tier killers have a hard time. It's time Behaviour started to do more again to close the SWF-solo gap.

The thought that this game was dying before SWF was not true, it was quite popular from the get go even before that, and was even growing. It just got reveiw bombed. (An Unfair and unethical practice) And the devs where forced to add it in or watch it wither away on steam. It would have been fine without it if not for that.

No they are not and that is the problem, the devs do not even realize it is an issue at all. Peanits stated most are just goofing around with friends, it is like saying, omega nurse/ 5blink nurse is okay cause most nurse players are bad. No it isn't ok.
Pls understand i dont want SWF to be removed but balance has to change. They have to start to change ranking system for survivors so the bad players will actually be in the lower ranks and not in the red ranks. It is so baffling to see people in this game in the highest ranking who literally have no clue at all.
When this has happened, they need to collect alot of data. They should release that to the community without this bs deceiving "red ranks matches" when it just contains a red rank killer at the start.

The devs are buffing solo survivor to SWF level and then buffing killers to that level so they have the tools to deal with both.

Y'all do realize they removed it for all of 2 weeks and almost no one played as a survivor, right? They've tried this. What they should implement is a "KWF" with 2 killers and 8 survivors with twice as many gens needed to be turned on. Not only will you be able to coordinate with others as killers, but you can combo killers together, like Michael Myers and Hillbilly. Michael Myers can lighthouse to spot killers and with Hillbilly's ability to cross maps like crazy, it would be dope. Stop asking for them to remove options and start asking for them to ADD MORE!!! I dont understand why people always look to remove things instead of add.

If they don't nerf SWF, the game will die out due to a lack of killers. In fact, there is already a lack of killers. I've been matched with red SWF groups as a green killer too many times to count and it's extremely frustrating.
Now, if I spot a coordinated SWF group in the lobby, I'll just leave the lobby. ######### them. I can get another lobby in 30 seconds anyway because almost nobody wants to play as a killer anymore.
No killers, no game. Survivors are popular enough that they can take some nerfs. Killers are already dying out.
