Corn on Coldwind maps needs to be less dense or not as tall
Every SWF group chooses this map for its many advantages now; at least before killers could see through the loops. Now Coldwind maps are the strongest maps for survivors. Do something about them.

myers and ghostface are the worst on these maps.. the corns need to get nerfed on them with their stalking

Do you mean how it’s harder to stalk? Same goes for like nurse or huntress. So many times I’ve missed easy shots or teleports because of corn.

They just need to raise the killer camera to the actual eyelevel of killers.

That’s a good idea, I have noticed how the camera like zooms into the killers chest at the start of the map. I think the best bet imo would be to make the corn less dense. The place is abandoned anyways, that corn shouldn’t be that maintained. There should be parts where maybe it’s more dense and taller and parts where it’s less dense and shorter, but you can tell they’ve just copy and pasted all the stalks. Maybe rotated them a bit and that’s it. (x

The place is abandoned and the corn shouldn’t be that well maintained. You can tell they’ve just copy and pasted each stalk, possibly rotated them on the tiles a bit. (x

The corn isn't the strongest part of farm maps lol, the amount of safe tiles is.
Having said that though I swear my corn blindness worsens everyday :'(

Those are the maps I struggle the hardest on with killer so there’s something to do with the corn for sure.

Yes, one match as killer on coldwind maps is enough for me to switch to survivor. I used to play more games as killer, but the bad map design is getting old and boring.

HONESTLY, I whole heartedly agree with this. Something needs to be done because there’s a reason survivors bring Coldwind offering so much.

They've already nerfed it once, it's fine as is. The fields of corn are otherwise giant dead spaces, the obscured vision is supposed to compensate for that.

That's understandable, but maybe they should get rid of the giant dead spaces and make something similar to Torment Creek.

Wasn't one of the corn maps in top 3 of highest kill rate for killers ? Rotten fields I think
I don't think the corn should be changed because that is the only thing on most of these maps that is in the middle of them. Imagine shelter woods having corn in the middle. Would be a much better map for example. Some of these maps are way too small and they need the corn to block the view othwrwise you would run into nothing in the middle and there are tons of gens around these places

You........you do realize the survivors don't pick maps, right? I've been to cold wind maybe a handful of times over the last week and I've seen the meat factory, the new shrine map, Azarov's like crazy. It's random unless someone uses an offering which Killers can use too. Also, the corn is just part of the game. Get used to it or learn to anticipate the moves.

Map offerings really shouldn't be a thing. It heavily favors SWF groups and I don't see the issue with random maps. Although I wonder if they are truly random.. some maps I almost never see.

The corn is fine, considering the last two maps that have been released are so killer sided it's almost a death sentence to even be sent there. I'd love to see the survival rate for the new Yamaoka Estate map. I bet it's something like 20% or less, and that being hatch escapes.
I 3 or 4k every time I get that map as killer and as survivor I die every time. I actually wish both sides could ban one map. I would ban that map every time even as killer because it just feels cheap as hell and I don't feel I earned my victory.
Besides, if you made the corn less dense, you'd basically be making the map killer sided(which there are already plenty killer sided maps, in fact even the most survivor sided maps have less than a 50% survival rate). There's literally nothing in the corn, meaning there are probably only like 4 or 5 pallets on those maps. It's basically just a big empty field.

Have you looked at the stats? The most survivor sided map had a kill rate of around 53% iirc.
It's only survivor sided if you're blind.

Let me explain for you, this person made a post bitching about CORN. Who complains about corn?! To further explain, I said nerf the moon because that too, is as idiotic as complaining about corn.
