Minecraft is honestly scarier then any horror game.

I honestly haven't experienced to many scary encounters in my life, thankfully. My two scariest would definitely have to be when my mom got cancer and my friend got hit by a car when he was around 11 or 12.

I remember when I first went to the nether I didn't see any info online about the nether so I was completely blind, the only thing I knew was how to make a portal (my brother told me how). I lit up the portal and entered into the unknown... I was struck with unease as I got my first glimpse of the nether (The music didn't help), it was a lot darker and scarier in my memory, I had a sense of "you shouldn't be here" in the nether. But I pressed on...

I mined some of the mysterious blocks on the ground, Netherrack... I was near a cliff so I decided to look down it and saw a huge sea of lava. While I was focusing on the the lava pit I heard the most terrifying noise... It was the sound of a ghast shooting at me, luckily when I heard this I ran to safer ground, I pulled out my bow expecting that would kill it, but since I had terrible aim I soon ran away.

After the encounter I soon felt panic "were's was the portal!" I said in a firm voice. I knew I was dead I was lost and I was running out of food so I decided to backtrack to the last place I saw the portal. I soon saw a huge building, a nether fortress... I decided to check it out, I built a little stairway up to the fortress. I ran down the halls and soon heard a creepy breathing sound, I went to it and saw a blaze, he started shooting me and I went to back away. But right when I realized I was by a cliff, it was too late I fell into the sea of lava. I went back to my house and left the game to go to bed.

Yeah, I call it shock therapy. After death and finding my stuff again another Creeper shows up and almost kills me again, escaping in a little cave hole with half an heart.

This happened a little over a year ago. One of my dogs was outside, and I went to bring her in. She just stood at the bottom of the steps staring off to the right, growling at something with her hackles raised. This was unusual, since, unless you are way too hyper and get way to close, she's super friendly and loves to play.

I go down the steps to grab her leash to pull her in, and I hear the CREEPIEST growl I have ever heard to the right of me, before something started scampering off into the neighbor's yard. The best way I can describe it is some sort of weird boar. Here's the thing. WE DON'T HAVE BOARS WHERE I LIVE!!!

I haven't heard that noise before, never heard anything like it since, and really don't want to hear it again. Something tells me that if I didn't get there at that exact moment, something horrible would have happened.

I've had a couple of people hold knives to my throat. I didn't like that very much.

probably has to be when me and my best friend were walking home from mcdonalds, we were just chatting until i noticed a random car just stopped in the middle of the road in front of us (they also had tinted windows so we couldnt see what they were doing.) me being me i grabbed her arm and like pulled us into some random ladies driveway and ran really far in and hid. after a while we left and went home but that shi was low key very scary

I found a gun without bullets and in disrepair in my trash can outside my house, does that count?

Well, my ex boyfriend stabbed me in the back when i was asleep then he ran away. I survived, i needed surgery but im kinda fine now, he is in prison for attempting murder right now. Hope he will rot in there.

By far the most scariest thing in my life, you don't feel nothing in the first moment when you get stabbed, after a few seconds it starts to hurt like hell, couldn't breathe, my body was in shock. Plus, the saddest part is that i loved him so much, he was cheating on me and decided to get rid of me ):

When I was like nine I moved to a new neighborhood and didn’t know this kid was a known weirdo at the time. I went to his house and I wouldn’t kiss him so he punched me in my private area and threatened me. I went to his mom and she offered me spaghetti... Can’t make this up LOLOL. It was really creepy because he stalked me and other girls in the neighborhood the whole time I lived there. No way he isn’t in prison now as an adult.

Another story from around the same time, long story short my moms ex Russian boyfriend shot up our house because she broke up with him. Bullets came in the room me and my siblings were in. At first we thought it was fire crackers, fell asleep thinking that until we woke up to every cop in town looking around our house. That was pretty crazy.
