What about dynamic movement speed depending on gens left?

For every gen left, the killer gets +1.5% movement speed.

That would help map control when needed (early game) and also getting those downs more quickly.

Late game (less gens left, no need for that much map control again) it would normalize. That way survivors also couldn't abuse god loops early game and waste so much time that other 3 can work on gens without fear (detrimental for killer, boring for survivors on a gen).

It would also help to "just apply more pressure".

And please remember, it's a 4v1, not 1v1

Obviously, this has to be tested and the details of the mechanic would have to be tweaked/balanced, but it would be a beginning?

Would like a constructive discussion, every other comment agreeing or disagreeing without stating reasons is irrelevant. Thanks!

    Yes, but

    • it is a perk, wastes a perk slot
    • does not apply to movement speed
    • works in reverse order to what I proposed

This means 122.5% at the start of the match. Not going to lie, I think would be extremely oppressive to survivors.

This would add an enormous snowball potential to certain killers. Not good.

This would allow early steamrolls with ruin though id see it applying later as gens get completed because the killers wouldnt want to lose their prey but not right away.

I think you dont understand how important Movement Speed is. That is why NOED is so strong - not only Insta Down, but 4% Movement Speed makes many Loops obsolete.

This is also, why PWYF is a Perk which is not that good. Because you need to be careful with things that mess around with Movement Speed.

Having an extra 7,5% Movement Speed at the start of the game will be very oppressive, which means that Pallets are gone way faster than they should be. Which results in no Pallets left, leaving the Killer with (most likely) still an impressive amount of Movement Speed and no defense for the Survivors.

    So a big fat Nope.

Then what about removing the effect while another survivor is on a hook or in the dying state?

    Furthermore I meant that +1,5% * (number of gens left - 1)

That would prevent slugging and being too oppressive.

Also maybe for already 115% speed killers, make it +1% instead of +1,5%?

I said of course the details have to be worked out, that is why I wanted this discussion :)
