BT isn't overpowered per se, just overtuned and power crept.
DS is just flat-out annoying, the ONLY change it needs is to be removed when you hook another Survivor.

They haven't made any mention of nerfing iri head. Then again, they didn't announce the Freddy addon nerfs either. They just released them and didn't care what people thought. Ds and borrowed time will never be nerfed because creating other strong perks is hard :'(

BHVR Legit buffed BT and nerfed legion when they made the deep wound changes. If they ever change BT again is gonna be another buff, because thats how BHVR rolls.

Yeah, this never made any logical sense to me at all. Because it only resulted in yet another Legion nerf that was unwarranted.
But I guess the devs wish they'd never developed and released Legion thinking about it. Shame, such wasted potential.

If they decide any or all should be changed, it doesn't matter what order they do it in.
Balancing a game isn't some zero-sum game where there's a finite amount of Balance Tokens™ killers and survivors fight over, or where you have to make sure to change killer stuff in one patch and survivor stuff in the next or the other way around to keep it "fair".

The problem has nothing to do with perks or add ons in my opinion. It's SWF teams all comm'd up because it puts solo survivors on such an unlevel playing field. It's so easy to tell as soon as the game starts and people know they are safe on the other side of the map when killer is close to someone and can relay vital information. Anything you do to "balance " the game just makes it worse for us solo survivors because SWF is what makes the game impossible to "balance "....

I agree that DS needs to be changed. If another Survivor is downed before the 60 seconds is up, then DS should deactivate. The Perk is meant for anti-tunnelling. And if someone else goes down, then the DS user isn't being tunnelled.
As for BT, I don't personally mind it. I run PWYF a lot, so that just gives me an extra stack. I can just catch up to them and give em a nice slap on the butt and call it good.
And lastly, Iri Heads. They're fine. They have their upside, and they have their downside. Upside being that do 2 hits of damage instead of 1, and the downside being that the Huntress can only have 1 hatchet. Yeah, they can run the bag to let them carry +2 for a total of 3, but it's an Iri Rarity add-on, so it deserves to be powerful.
Before anyone says "Oh, but BNP and Iri Syringe are both Iri and...", here's the thing. There's only 1 Killer vs 4 Survivors. The 4 Survivors can run much more items/add-ons than the Killer. Higher quantity = lower quality per thing.

Literally nothing wrong with Borrowed Time or DS so yeah.... Iri Head nerf would be a priority if anything gets nerfed

Iri head needs it more. DS and BT are a necessary evil for now; iri heads aren't and it was about a year ago one of the devs said on their stream that they'd be essentially dead soon. Been a few chapters since then, and still nothing...so maybe it won't happen.

On DS — if you get hooked, then someone else gets hooked, but right as you're being unhooked, the killer came back and slaps ya down, pixks you back up, and throws you on the hook — to that survivor, it will still feel like being tunneled.

There is plenty wrong with them. They allow for survivors to get away with bad plays.

Survivors shouldn't have to waste a perk slot on something that only counters tunneling. That's in the killers hands. I'm sure you've never been hooked or tunneled, but I hear it's terrible

As a huntress main, I really hope they change iri heads. They make the game super boring for both sides. I haven't used them in the longest time because they are just so...boring for everyone.
Borrowed time is fine.
Decisive could use another look at.

I just feel like ds shouldnt active unless you were unhook in the killer's terror radius or similar to spinechill if the killer was nearby without a terror radius. So pretty much, if the killer was nearby with or without the terror radius, ds is active.

I don’t understand your logic because killer ir addons affect 4 people, and survivor addons COULD affect up to 4 ppl BUT THATS ONLY IF 4 people brought them in. Do you though.

DS doesn't need any changes. Don't tunnel and end game don't go for the same injured person just to save your own ego or pip because then you deserve the stun. If you get stunned you deserved it. Perk is annoying at times but perk is fine. BT is also fine nothing wrong with it either to OP

Everyone has their own opinion on DS which is fine, but targeting borrowed time an actual anti-tunnel/camping perk. You have got to be joking. I don't care what anyone says borrowed time is fine.

Saying you deserve to get stunned for finding someone after you already hooked someone else is the height of entitlement. Saying you deserve to get stunned because you downed someone at end game because it was your only change to get a kill then when everyone else is full health is nearly as bad. I'm sorry that going after the same person is the most effecient and effective way for the killer to gain control of the game. I guess if that's wrong then survivors need to not do generators as quickly as possible?

I’m going to assume this was inspired by my post.
The only change ds MIGHT need is to either deactivate or instantly take off 10/20/30 (per tier) seconds if the killer downs someone else. I personally think that genuine tunneling needs to be punished more and in some ways some parts of ds should be baked into the game or buffed. That being said, swf who sweat would try to find a way to abuse it so we need to find a way that gives solos more power without adding to the swf arsenal.
I think bt is fine for the most part except when swf abuse it but that’s a swf issue not a bt issue - it’s vital against campers. So again, I think in some ways it should naturally be baked into the game to punish bad behavior.
But tbh yes, Iridescent heads (particularly with belts) DOES need a nerf or a huge tell for survivors because it’s genuinely the swf equivalent to killers - and like 99.9% of the time it’s used punitively on other survivors after a particularly nasty swf match and those survivors turn into punching bags that get tunneled to death, often literally. And no, seeing someone immediately go down does NOT count and is totally unfair to the first survivor because it’s definitely going to be a short and unrewarding waste of time for them.
Iri heads and Swf power imbalance both need a looksie :)

DS is 60 seconds of immunity, you can get slugged, that's it. DS shouldn't hit me when I've hooked another person and then down the person who was unhooked 30 seconds ago because they cannot loop. It isn't anti-tunnel, it is anti-momentum and anyone who resists the changes to make it anti-tunnel and NOT anti-momentum is proving my point.
BT is used to make extremely dangerous and unsafe unhooks and not be punished for it. I don't think BT has ever been nerfed, and it sure needs one after all the buffs it has received because of the Legion nerfs.

The killer mains who are still yet again complaining about borrowed time need to stop. I understand that you guys aren't going to ever stop trying to get rid of DS completely, but leave borrowed time alone. I face full 4 DS in a game and never have to eat 1. Play both sides evenly then complain.

I disagree because in your cases it ruins your momentum and guess what you're not supposed to have that and be able to consistently slug and get your 4 kills or whatever you're expecting. It was better at being anti tunnel the way it was before if it didn't work on first down. But nobody liked that so now it's what it is. I personally almost never get to use it because killer goes off and chases other people or I get left on the ground for the minute and then get hooked or picked up. So change how you decide to play. If everyone in the match has it you have no choice but to eat it or slug em all if possible. I doubt the perk will get changed. And BT is fine as it is. Its there to teach you to not camp. It does promote bad unsafe saves but it also punishes bad killer play so either way it goes. Its fine and if you hate it that much play a stealth killer.

I dont even know what the deal with iri hatchets is. I almost never use them or see them being used. Mby on console its different. But if they change iri heads with an announcement Im gonna get rid of those 500 heads for sure xD

BT is almost never used to stop camping. It's current purpose is to promote bad plays by letting people get very unsafe unhooks.

I like the idea of DS only counting if the Killer was in TR when they get unhooked.
Or as a compromise, have it be if they are DOWNED within say, 20 seconds, but then its indefinite as long as they are slugged like old DS.

DS is anti tunneling. Salty killers made it tunneling again. Injured fresh unhook? 'Let's downed and hooked him again." But when the killer eat the DS, down to forums he go to cry about it.

Bruh the effect these changes had on BT are negligible.

DS fix: 20 second timer that is paused while you're slugged but the timer advances by 20 seconds when another survivor is hooked. Deactivates when the survivor gains a health state. Reasoning: Tunneling down someone still has downsides but unhooked people no longer have a free health state for 60 seconds. Timer is just a placeholder btw.
About BT: It's in a good spot imo, it gets its job done of preventing camping and is really only oppressive during the end game but even then is quite niche. If you don't like it when people stop you from camping you can try stealth killers/perks.
