What about new event (game files) ?

Is the new Summer Event canceled? It has not been around for a long time, but it is in the game files. I'm really excited about it and I'm waiting hoping that it isn't canceled. The roadmap for this year contains information about event every quarter but I'm confused about this one.

I hope it doesn't come on the 5th through the 11th because I'm on vacation during that time and if it comes I'm going to be angry because I'll miss double BP and I won't get the cosmetics for Kate and Billy.
