The Oni is NOT okay
After the recent Survivor Addon Nerfs = Instaheal and selfheal a new Killer got released where he is mandatory to slug people and without the Items we also got a double nerf.
but now to the main topic. Oni is NOT okay.
After he slashes ONE survivor its a big snowball system. He can get easy amount of blood and gets punished for the typical mechanic:
Putting a Survivor into Dyingstate, picking him up and bringing him to the hook
Now he Can oneshot a survivor and runs arround with an amazing speed for over a minute till his power is emptied. With a lot of different perks and his speed its easy to find one or two other survivor and oneshots them too.
He is billy with michael combined but just far worse.
He doesnt get punished for running against Objectives
He doesnt get punished for slugging because the amount of blood stays!
I really love the Game but i kinda loose interest playing against such an insanely overtuned Killer.

Oni isn't that good.
I honestly don't know how survivors can complain about anything. I don't play much survivor, but I have had to for the rift, and just in the few weeks I've been required to do that I've gotten good enough to loop red rank killers, and obviously get to red ranks. It kinda bothers me that killer can be so hard to play, and survivor be so easy it almost disgusts me.

This has to be a troll. Oni is extremely weak right now, I'd put him in the bottem 5 killers tbh since his power doesn't help with the chase anymore now if the survivor knows how to turn 100degrees. In fact I can't even recall the last time I was hit by his dash.

Slugging isn't really that good on Oni anymore. Every time he downs someone with his power he loses a lot of charge on it. When he picks up a downed survivor he can save the rest of his charge. In no way, shape, or form does he encourage slugging.
The lunge on his dash is honestly comparable to trying to turn a bus, and the demon strike is relatively difficult to land. He is nowhere near being a top tier killer. He isn't necessarily bad, he just isn't that good.

Oni might seem overpowered, but he has some serious weaknesses as well. I haven't played a lot since his release, I've only come up against him a handful of times and honestly I struggle to do well against him, too. But I'm assuming that's just because I haven't learned how to counter him properly yet.
The best way to learn a killer's weaknesses is to play them yourself. If you don't own the Oni, watch some gameplay of him by someone who knows what they're doing, and try to take note of what they are and are not able to do effectively. You could also try to find some gameplay of good survivors against the Oni, and copy what they do to counter him.

What. People that STILL complain about oni are either biased or not good at the game. Or both. You just need to change your running direction more than 45° and he can't dash at you.

So a post about oni yet you feel the need to mention a nerf to a survivor item that was known to be broken and unbalanced by everyone. also Oni is fine just loop him and he will use up too much of his power bar to get a second person most of the time.

you do realize until he gets his power his literally the worst killer in the game as long as you don't get caught out of position he takes forever to get the power and once he does get his power he cant even demon dash people as long as you hug the corners sure you still get the kill but you can still get looped pretty easily when you have your power
