Do all spirit mains teleport right back to the hook after the survivor is unhooked?
I’m a hag main but when I play survivor I’ve never seen a Spirit w any other playstyle. Thinking about trying spirit but if that’s all she can do seems cheap and boring lol any other playstyle for her?

If it is efficient it is efficient.
She excels in the chase and hitting someone right off hook is a great play, so long as you go after the unhooker too, tons of pressure.
She is bugged right now, be warned, her Post-Phase speed is zero, she should have more of a lunge.

Pretty much every spirit I've faced does this. There may have been like 1 that wasn't a hardcore tunneler. She doesn't HAVE to do that. Spirit is fun to play and strong. People are just bad killers so they resort to the dirty tactics.

Some survivors are kinda aggressive for the unhooks

Not dirty.
Its efficient and the best way to ensure you get into another chase and continue to pressure the survivors. But I guess Killers should give Survivors a safe, free, unhook and extra time to heal.
Anyway, there usually isn't a reason not too, if you are close and fast enough. It ensures that you will encounter at least two survivors and you can keep up the pressure.

You don't get into a chase if you immediately come back to the hook and knock down the person who just got unhooked. That entire chase is ignored. Using your power for things like that is a dirty tactic. If you do zoom back to the hook if you're in the area that's fine, but resorting to it specifically to kick someone while they're down is lazy and just proves you're scared you suck and need to play like that to even get a second hook.

I've certainly seen some that straight up abandon a chase with an injured survivor to go back to the hook seemingly no matter how far away it is, but most of the time it just means they didn't get in another chase yet.
If you don't see a survivor and an unhook happens you know exactly where at least 2 survivors are at that very moment.

Not a spirit main but I only go back to the hook if I don’t have another target and I know you’re being rescued, I generally want to get the unhooker though.

True true, When I’m playing hag sometimes I’m in chase w someone else on the hook and they just get farmed by their team mate. I’m not saying whoever plays like I’d describes is wrong, it just doesn’t seem fun to me. Then again, hag is unappealing to many people too lol

Oh I’m not coming down on that sort of playstyle I’m just asking if there’s alternate things, I like her a lot but Hag is just really fun for me lol and I’m kinda a laid back killer I guess bc hag is so easy to 4K w I’m legit resorting to no perk hag at this point 🤣 probably won’t work past my current rank tho (5) just see spirit so much in red ranks survivor w that style

Yes, there are other ways to play. If you are looking for a challenging experience, play Legion.

Tried it lol I like them, but mad grit and discordance snowball the game really quickly if you spawn in and cross the map. I find huntress a bit more challenging but that may be me having no sniper game lol

Yep, first time I hit rank 4 survivor I had a spirit tunnel everyone off the hook until they died. The depip was real lol

Most of them yes.

Literally the same thing with Hag but you just dont know if she is coming back or not

Efficient play styles are efficient. I like to have the ability to return to the hook so I'll walk away if no one shows on BBQ. If you happen to be the one I see then sad day for you. Not like the other survivors are going to stop what they're doing in order for you to chase them because they feel bad the other guy got tunneled.

Typically what I would do is if I am in the middle of starting my phase and I hear the unhook animation, I'm going back to the hook.
Either I hit the unhooker or the unhooked person is a gamble since I am pretty much blind until I reach the hook.

I am a Spirit main and I don't do this unless I haven't gotten too far away from the hook before the save happens. If I do go back I go for the unhooker unless I can't find them, and then I'll try to hit the unhookee until either a) i get them, then I slug them, or b) i find someone else during that chase.
If i'm far away I don't go back .

Not a criticism of the playstyle, just more of a question of if another style works on her, because yes hag has a lot of potential for that for sure, but I’ve found about 3 viable strategies that don’t involve hook traps that work. My point is that it’s not a style I’d prefer w any killed and I’m asking if since that’s the only style I’ve come across- is it bc it’s easy/efficient or the only way to play her. Either is fine, the latter just isn’t for me 🙃

The real question is why shouldn't she. You never want to let someone unhook for free -if she hasn't found someone else to attack in the time it taked to unhook, it's a good move on her part to punish an unhook and start a new chase.

Hag is the worst camper in the game.

I mean, I don't make a habit of tunneling because I want my BBQ stacks; but how does it make a killer bad if they are using a strategy that results in a kill? Isn't that the goal?
Or is this according to the magical, invisible killer rule book written by survivors?

It certainly seems like it. I don't think I've played against a Spirit that gets out of phase range from the hook.
An you're injured off the hook so that's a free easy guaranteed down for her too.
0 -
You are cheesing a victory because you aren't good enough to actually accept the challenge of the game as is. That's why you're bad if you tunnel.
0 -
It's not a teleport.
It's a phase walk.
They are different.

Just the baby Spirits that thinks that Phase walk is meant to be Billy's chainsaw

If I can't find someone else to chase, I'll go back to the hook (but I really prefer not to). If I do go back to the hook, I look for the unhooker. If I can only find the unhooked, I either slug them or I just ignore them; unless we're at the end of the match, I don't re-hook them.
Also, I phase walk away from the hook, so I usually can't phase walk back; I have to normal walk back.

Hag doesn’t camp she teleports to the hook which all depends on if the survivors are smart enough to crouch walk, two completely different things. Also Leatherface is the worst camper in the game.

Leatherface is the worst camper in the game. Anyone can be the “worst camper” I’m just asking about the spirit playstyle in general. Hag is going down quick if camping at 110% speed lol bad playstyle for her but that’s just me
0 -
Yes they do.
0 -
She is a long range camper that hides behind “ it’s how I’m built” mentality. Still bubba is the worst camper.
0 -
A lot of them do indeed, just walk away from the hook and she will most likely not find you if you have iron will
They waste so much time doing that then

*killer is not in a chase*
*killer sees unhook notification and knows there are two people guaranteed to be there*
*killer returns to hook*
TuNN313R
Sorry they didn't go AFK :-/

How dare they use their power for mobility / aggressive tactics.
If they're not walking around at 110% all match, I know they're bad!
0 -
...that assumption that I’m saying it’s a bad things tho lol wrong post
0 -
If you even trap hooks as hag that is lol you can add this same statement to trapper, billy, Freddy, huntress, spirit, etc I don’t see a lot of hag players in general bc she’s one of the least picked killers but usually rank 15 and up I haven’t seen camp.
traps work in 2 ways, for easy hits or for hag bbq and chili... or collision at pallets which is hysterical as a killer main if a survivor is t-bagging 🤣
too many ppl on here assuming I’m saying a common spirit technique is bad instead of actually reading the post and getting what I’m actually saying ’sounds boring, anything else viable?’

Is more of a waste, by babies I mean the M1 Spirit that never uses their power in chase
