Best way to get the 4 basement sacrifices challenge?

Right now I am just spamming traps around the basement with trapper, but as soon as survivors realize I am trying to do the challenge they'll either dc or ran to the other side of the map

any tips?

I'd say play well, and don't camp the basement since they only need to die in the basement. Hooks 1 and 2 can be wherever. But sadly, a lot of this is in the survivors' hands. If they don't want you to get it you won't.

Hag with Corrupt Intervention, Agitation, Mad Grit, and BBQ. If you don't play a lot of hag though, it might be hard to keep everyone around the basement once everything gets started

Call me crazy, but I did it with Wraith, on Ormond. Which ONLY worked because the basement, when in the big middle building, is reachable from pretty much anywhere on the map when you have Iron Grasp and Agitation.

It did involve proxying and some tunneling, but I mean, I made it work.

Haddonfield is a good map for this challenge because basement is smack down in the middle every game.

Trap up Myer’s house Use Trapper add ons honing stone and iridescent stone.

Iron Grasp, DeerStalker, Agitation, and any other perk you like.

The best strategy for me was get two people in the basement as earlier as if possible. Slug the first guy and bait another survivor for the heal. Once you down two people and put them in the basement with the trapped up Myers house. The other two survivors should fall into your trap depending on where you place your traps.

mad for DC survivors all you can do it try again 🙃

I used Hillbilly with iron grasp and agitation. I just ran every body down and chucked them in the basement.

I spammed m2 after every basement hook and did a victory lap around the map every time. Maybe that'll help.

I finally got it with scummy insidious LF. I felt so bad. The challenge is scummy by itself so you have to be a bit scammer one game.

Trapper with Iron Grasp/agi Whispers bonus perk and as many bags as you can get.

Use a Chapel or Sheltered offering (Or somewhere with a spicy basement and lots of windows)

Trap the absolute ######### out of every possible route in or out of the basement and the surrounding loops.

once you get the first survivor in the basement, do a loose patrol around and concentrate on stopping them disarming traps, eventually against most teams you will snowball as soon as you get 2 or 3 down there. Most of the time they end up trapped as they try and run out the basement.

    Then just hope nobody DCs

The times I've had this happen with both 6 Ft Under and Agitation is soul-crushing. They know it hurts, bad, and they'll do it just to spite you. I wish you better luck in your upcoming attempts.

Haddonfield is good for that challenge, but everything other is luck.

Sure they didn't DC because of how overpowered iri head is?

  • xenofon13
    xenofon13 Member Posts: 1,241

Probably this is the reason. Iri head is the most OP and toxic add on in the game + huntresses horrible hitboxes. I prefer to die from basement bubba than iri annoying huntress.

    Nope

They dced on their last hook when I was carrying them to the basement

They knew damn well what I was trying to do

To be fair basement is pretty much his 9nly real strength...until we get int9 nem/pwyf combos but i'm sure survivors will learn to start slamming pallets early soon enough

I got mine with Bubba eventually(after about 20 dc) - agitation, iron grast, territorial imperative and pgtw. Proxy camp basement after getting a survivor there and wait for territorial to trigger, use pgtw to regress gens around the basement

well aparently if someone dcs on the basement hook it still won't count

    thanks devs

My BF just got it while running Hag and going for the Daily Challenge.

He wasn't sure he was going to get it but he wanted to try anyway. His build was:

    Rank 3 Ruin

    Rank 2 Iron Grasp

    Rank 1 Mad Grit

    Rank 1 Monsterous Shrine

I forget what add-ons he was running, but the Survivors kind of ran around stupidly and he was able to get it.

This should be changed! I'll have to get extremely lucky to get this on, because of the amount of disconnects going on. There needs to be something done to these people, they suck the fun out of the game, you take your time hitting them ,picking them up and as soon as you go to hook them, you have no one in your arms. Getting fed up with this.

It does work as long as they are on the hook, If your just getting them on the hook and they dc it does not count unfortunately.

I did it with Pig, but the killer is really interchangeable. I ran Iron Grasp, Agitation, Ruin and Devour Hope.

The biggest thing is really the map. I ran a Game offering because the map is really small, and while the basement is in a far corner, it's accessible from a large area of the map with those perks. It also has disgustingly good totem spawns, and while my ruin died halfway, nothing else happened all match because they never found Devour Hope and were frightened to do gens.

Devour Hope also gave me better control over where people go down. I don't need to worry about them getting injured and sprinting to the wrong side of the map, just 1 hit and they're done.

I used a few early hooks to gauge how far I could carry someone and knew where I could get to the basement from.

After that it's just luck that the survivors don't actively saboutage you.

I hooked someone on his death hook and he dc'd after the hook. I was praying to count as basement kill and yes, challenge completed! I was so happy because i had 3-4 stressful basement games with a lot dc's.

I saw someone trying it with permanent EW3 Myers, Agitation and Iron grasp. Probably would have worked if we hadn't figured it out and just ran as far from the basement as possible.

I did it with a slug plague build with the addon where you can see pukers. Ruin, agitation, iron grasp, knockout. If you can get everyone in the ground, you've got it done.
