Revelations (SPOILERS FOR THE END OF TOME 1)
So I've somehow been able to get all of the Revelations unlocked, and honestly it was a bit anticlimactic. Here's what I got out of each entry:
1. There's an Entity cult in some version(s) of Earth
2. This one might be a hint at a future killer, although idk how they would make a "seduce and feed to pigs" mechanic. Also, there's something called Terra Dark, which I assume is one of those alternate Earths
3. Something seems to have happened that has reshaped what The Observer thinks The Entity is. No idea what.
If you've gotten anything else from Revelations or disagree with my conclusions, let me know!

I wonder if they're ever so slowly gearing up for a "Entity offspring" killer? I think that would be pretty damn cool to see.

On the one hand, that would be awesome! On the other hand, I vaguely recall the devs saying we'll never see the Entity as a killer. Also, I don't think the Entity is the sort of thing that reproduces (despite what some questionable fanart might have you believe)

Yeah, you're right, they did say we'd never see the Entity as a killer BUT I could see a killer that was a cultist that was then experimented or went through a lot of different rituals to basically become a "spawn" of the Entity.
Also about those fanarts... UwU

Now a cultist would definitely be cool!
But also no Cornpopers you're supposed to be the wholesome guy! Wholesome guys only look at pornographic fanart of The Trapper, not The Entity!

Yeah, I'm kinda thinking of how the one cultist character in IV could work in DBD.
Sorry, Trapper "trap" folder is full alongside the Feng folder.

It said they were a survivor though, an ex-cultist. Would make for some interesting perks though. And awesome costumes.
Okay, good. Nothing more wholesome than FengxTrapper

Oh, I'm talking about the one with the tentacles, he's not a cultist?
Once again... UwU

I thought that, instead of hinting a future playable killer/survivor, the Revelation logs are rather building up the Observer's character by revealing his remorse toward his own curiosity and foolishness. He and his family studied the Entity and firmly believed its kind could be destroyed, but in the end he's trapped in this nowhere dimension with perhaps no hope of getting out. As you can see the last log is a relatively late one.
The Observer may have sympathized with the female detective or the men lured by the pig lady - starting off with good will, but too eager and naive and ending up as a pathetic prey. Just my opinion tho...

About the female killer of Terra Dark, she is probably a reference to the real life serial killer Belle Gunness: A norwegian woman that lived around the end of the 19th century in America, where she contacted men through an ad, and in letters, convinced them to give her their possessions and money(even going to the bank). After that, she would kill them and bury their bodies in her pig pens, starting all over again with a new, unsuspecting victim.
She is so similar that I wouldn’t be surprised if she is mean to be her, and not just a reference.

@AAAAA You forgot the detective survivor!
2 -
You're right, I totally forgot! Thanks for pointing that out!

I'm not certain of how the cult or Terra Dark will factor into everything, but it seems pretty clear to me that this is meant to be a teaser for the survivor and killer from the next chapter. Perhaps the killer will be called "The Siren" or something similar.
It's possible, of course, that it's something more subtle than that, and this is just the obvious interpretation. But I think it's a pretty cool idea, and hopefully this will be a regular thing in future Tomes - hiding a teaser for a future chapter in the lore for the last level.

Dude, The Siren is a sick name! Did you come up with that on your own, or discover it with the powers invested in you as a Trusted?

Haha, I wish I got sneak peaks at the next chapter! No, I just thought of that because it's a term people sometimes use to refer to a woman who lures men to her on false (usually sexual) pretences and then punishes them for their gullibility, like the sirens of Greek mythology.

I got the mythological reference, just never would've thought of it myself :P

If we ever get a spider-like killer it should be the Entity. I imagine she would look like some sort of Lovecraftian spider creature, given the spider-like legs you see on hooks and gens.
Now that Last Year has an actual spider killer, there is a greater chance DBD will get one just to one-up them.
Also, since she is a Lovecraftian creature anyway... they don't reproduce sexually either. Anything that spawns from another being is usually like a tumor or some kind of mass that just kinda fell off the thing and became its own thing. I'm sure the Entity could "reproduce" in the same way.

I don't believe we'll ever get The Entity as a killer, but a cultist, that's pretty possible. Weird how they straight-up call the place Terra Dark, hence why I assumed it was a more subtle reference to a licensed killer.

I highly doubt we will see the Entity as a killer cuz The Entity itself is the universe I dont think Entity could be like being more likely a phenomenon.
Maybe one day we could see a creature like The Entity but not itself.
